I got 3 tubes from schrammek skin care today. I asked for samples at the end, but I also stated that either way I was extremely interested in hearing what products would best benefit me to purchase. The lady emailed me back with suggestions, but never actually said she would send samples I just got them. I also have some gypsy water and rose noir coming from byredo.
Did you contact the German email address directly to ask for the Schrammek products, or is there a distributor where you live?

Rae Cosmetics was extremely helpful! I received an email from the founder herself asking about my skin tone and offering assurances regarding the quality of the product and her own concerns over allergies (I explained to her that my principal reason for requesting samples is to make sure my husband doesn't get an eczema flare--we agreed a decade ago that I would give any toiletries a trial run because he is so sensitive that very mild contact with the wrong makeup or lotion can throw his skin into a tizzy.) In the end she sent three little pots of liquid foundation and two of powder that can be used as either a mineral base or finishing powder. Rae was so nice about the whole thing that I will make a purchase with this coming paycheck or the next; her stuff is not cheap, but it is good and wears well in high humidity.

Lalique was VERY generous with the little package I received yesterday! There were five vials of perfume in all; all of them looked like the typical spray samples but were actually more like mini splash bottles attached to its little folding card--more product without the itty bitty pipe inside! I was happy to see there were some affordable offerings on the website, and not just the one that cost more than our last new car (I am not kidding on that, there's one that's $18,000! I told Louie to never complain about my buying a lipstick at Macy's again. Ever.)

I emailed Koh Gen Do and asked them if there was a way for me to recieve any samples of their products and I mentioned how I was also a blogger, and within 30 minutes, they sent me this:

Hi Jacqueline,

Hope all is well. Thank you for reaching out. We will certainly add you to our media list.

I'm not sure if that's a yes or no? But surely a good thing either way. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I also sent emails to:  Jouer, Janeiredale, Beauty Addicts, and Cargo Cosmetics. We'll see what responses I get.

I think it was just [email protected]. They were really nice about it, and in fact sent one package to my work and one to my home--it was by accident and the young lady taking care of me apologized profusely (the one sent to my work had gotten lost in the transfer between offices, and ended up getting to me only after several weeks.) I was impressed enough that I picked up some rollerballs at Sephora.
I emailed them 2 weeks ago and got no response. How long did you have to wait?

It wasn't long. I think I emailed on a Friday and when I got back to work on Monday there was a reply. All in all, it was about a week before I received the package of samples to my home address; the one accidentally sent to my work and got routed to several different offices, took maybe three weeks.

They were helpful to me and prompt BUT would only send samples if I paid for them. And they wanted my credit card by email.  No thanks. I'm not giving my credit card out by email.

I got a yes from NUXE today. They asked for my age and skin type, too :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I started emailing companies a week and a half ago and got:

- A very generous sample of their Charcoal Cleanser from Shamanuti in a little glass pump bottle (sooo cute too and works awesome!)

-"Rose Moisture Plus" Gel Lotion and "Purely Bright" Cleanser from Jurlique (both .06oz sachets)

- "L'Amour", "Azalee", "Perles" and "Fleur de Cristal" from Lalique

- "Natural Shampoo", "Hair & Body Babywash" and "Scrumptious Baby Cream" from Original Sprout (since my little one's skin is so sensitive I asked for those)

- "Coconut Fig Leaf" and "Tea Olive Lime" Body Lotion and "Sweet Pea Stain Remover" from Caldrea

- "Creme Radieuse", "Creme Ultra Riche Visage", "Concentre de Lait Amande" and "Baume Yeux Precieux" from L'Occitane

and I'm sure I have a couple more things coming :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'll update the list as samples come in the mail.

FedEx just dropped a little box off... N.4 sent me:

-2 oz. Jour d'automne Mighty Hair Spray

-.25 fl. oz. Lumiere d'hiver Clarifying Shampoo

-.25 fl. oz. Fleurs de Temps Volumizing Shampoo

-.25 fl. oz. Fleurs de Temps Volumizing Condition

-.25 fl. oz. Jour d'automne Blow Dry Lotion

since their products are highly concentrated, each one of the sachets will provide me with 2-3 applications which is really cool :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> impressed with the amount of samples they sent me!

Also got something from Marrakesh Hair Care today... 2 sachets of their "Endz" product and one of their Original Hair Oil! yayyy!

Hello everyone! I've been following this thread for a while and got a few things I wanted to try. I was really excited to try out the N4 things and I recieved samples of the blow dry lotion, recontructing masque, and thermal styling spray ( which was 2 oz).

I like the results I got from the Thermal styling spray, but the smell is a little strange. I'm a little picky about smells and I wasn't a fan. The best way to describe the smell was "musty watermelons". Did anyone else experience this?

Yeah I noticed. There clarifying is the bomb though and after you dry you hair the smell seems much better. It pours out like honey or something. I believe they make 3 different scents and they are all very unique.

Yeah, perhaps the smells are all strong at first and get more subtle. I noticed after I flat ironed my hair, the smell was nicer (I probably should have mentioned that). The smells of their products that I've tried have exotic smells.

Relatively new here -- so happy to find this forum!!  Will definitely be asking for samples from companies who have stuff I want to try.  The subscription boxes are great for trying new things, but they are so limited.  This forum is the greatest find of my (semi) adult life.  Thanks to all!
