Also, I can't remember if these were mentioned in here, but both Thierry Mugler and Studio Gear sent me samples. I got a nice size mascara from Studio Gear which was awesome since I was needing new mascara anyway and Thierry Mugler sent a deluxe size fragrance in an identical (but smaller) bottle of their Alien scent which was cute. They also sent a toilette version as well! ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Honestly, that shampoo/conditioner from Oscar Blandi didn't do anything in terms of adding volume to my hair, so I suggest just use it when you're not going out or something that night. Might as well - the packets gave me two full uses,
It made my hair really shiny!  I'm not sure about volume, but I'm not really looking for volume.

How did you word your email?

Update on Oscar Blandi - I sent them an email and no response.  I did a private message on their FB page - no response.  I publicly posted on their FB page to please read their messages and I got a response!!  And my samples are out for delivery today!! WOW

So far, I LOVE the smell of the Dermorganic Hair masque and the Murad Clarifying Wipes really cleared up my skin after just one use. Will be purchasing both. I didn't like any of the Nest fragrances, which was a bummer since it was so nice of them to send me 5 sample vials. I ended up giving them all to my mom, who loved them. The Folle de Joie fragrance kind of reminds me of Stella by Stella Mccartney, which I love (It's almost slightly bitter, but pleasant none the less). Tocca's Lilliana and Simone scents are extremely lovely, and I will be purchasing both. Off to go send some more emails!

I know, it's beautiful isn't it?? I pretty much just email customer service and say that I read some rave reviews online about their __________ fragrance, and would like to try before buying. I ALWAYS obtain fragrance samples prior to purchase, because I have extremely sensitive skin. However, I must say that most perfume companies, (like maybe around 2/3) don't even respond to my original email, and only about one in ten will actually send me samples.

I received samples from Nest today and I am in love with them!! I am going to be buying from them - no doubt. They said in their email that they are at Sephora now. If you haven't tried Nest fragrances - next time you are at Sephora - check them out!!

N4 sent me SIX deluxe sized samples! I was so surprised! They also included a foil of a hair oil, but the deluxe ones were all 1.5oz (bigger than the one I got in my birchbox once) and I got the following:

Reconstructing Masque

Blow Dry Lotion

Hydrating Shampoo

Hydrating Conditioner

Clarifying Shampoo

Prep & Protect Spray

Awesome! I wrote to them for samples, too, but they just sent me some foils. I did just get a haircut, so maybe I can use foil packets of shampoo/conditioner now, but with longer hair they're usually not enough as my hair is really thick.

I have received samples from the same ones that people have mentioned over the last month. DermOrganics sent about 6 bottles of large samples. I love their products. I have been about 60/40 on who will send samples. I really cant understand why companies refuse to send products. I can even understand why some make you pay a small amount, which I wouldn't mind. But when some companies WIIl send me samples, and others refuse - who am I going to purchase from? I guess some companies dont care. But the ones who I have sampled will be getting my orders. Competition is fierce in the cosmetic/skin care world so not letting people sample doesn't make sense. But oh well. I never request samples from companies I would not actually purchase from. First Aid Beauty, Soap and Glory, Harvey Prince, Tory Burch, Jack Black, Beauty Sage, Wen, SuperGoop - all said NO. So don't bother with them.

This really just shows how inconsistent these companies are with their replies. Tory Burch sent me a .05 perfume sample in a really nice purple bag about two or three weeks ago.

So I've been having good luck with samples so far! I think only 1 said no which was suki, but because their samples were being redesigned so they told me to try again in a month.

I have received so far:

JOIE -

sample of Folle De Joie

GLŌ-

glōsatin II Finish in golden (foundation I think?) : small tube

Luxe Liquid Foundation in Almond : foil packet

2 powder foundations in natural medium and honey medium : small compacts with eye shadow type sample

2 lipglosses in blushing and whisper : small tubes

Repair cream for hands and feet : foil

Advanced B5 Hydration Facial Hydrator : foil

Conditioning Hydration Cream Facial Moisturizer : foil

Cyto-Luxe Eye Cream : foil

Oil Free SPF 40+ Facial Sunscreen : foil

Moisturizing Tint SPF 30+ in light : foil

Super Serum for face : foil

Pumpkin Enzyme Scrub for face : foil

EXUVIANCE- all foils

Gentle Cleansing Cream

Ultra Restorative Cream

Evening Restorative Complex

Samples That should be arriving soon:

Tory Burch - fragrance

NEST Fragrances - obviously, fragrance lol

and I might be forgetting some.... lol

I'm just SO impressed with Glō!! I came home today and saw the huge padded package and looked inside and got so excited. Sooo many samples! The foundations probably won't match my skin but I'm not upset.

Somebody had posted about moody sister samples before, and it looks like they have a free shipping code out again which can be combined with a free sample code (I got the code from filling out a survey, but it doesn't seem to be unique)

I  didn't enter any cc info and just clicked "place order" and it seems to have gone through

Oh yeah!!! I had posted this earlier and I believe some got it and some didn't. Anyway once you sign up for emails, they send a lot of free shipping codes and they have always worked with the try me first promo. I got a whipped body butter and loved it. My mom got the dry skin cream and it was super thick, but not sticky!!!

I also got the travel size bottles, sent through FedEx in a giant box. Those cost anywhere from 7 to 19 dollars a piece too. They sent me one of everything. My email wasn't anything special either. The clarifying shampoo is like honey . I've never used a better shampoo. The total shipping cost to N4 was $14.

12 benefits sent me a bottle of their heat protector/ shine spray and it works fabulously. Like the name, it actually has 12 uses. They never replied, but sent the sample a month later.
