omg.  thud.  I just wanted a little sample or two from Besame & I was going to review it.   I just got a 50.00 gift certificate to their site!!
Wow! That's great! I asked them 2 month ago and they said they have no samples but want to put me on a waiting list. A couple of weeks ago they offered me a set of samples to purchase, I think for $20 or so?!?

I wonder if it was because I have ordered their lipsticks before from their site?  I did mention I was going to write a review on the products.  I got an email back from the co-owner himself!!

anyway, I am so pleased as I really do love their lipsticks and have been wanting to try their balm, rouge & violet powder.

Caldrea sends lots of samples of hand soaps and lotions. It's fun to try all the different scents. So far I like lavender pine for a winter time hand soap.

Miss Jessies lets you purchase, I think, up to three samples.

Thank you for mentioning this! I've been wanting to try them out and it never occurred to me to check their site for samples. It looks like you can pick 2 free samples, but they also have some of the products in sample or travel sizes available for purchase. I may need to contact them to see what products they suggest for my hair type, but super excited!

I've been thinking of trying to start looking into samples - how many hours a week do y'all typically spend?

Probably about 30 minutes every couple months or so. I'm still looking for my HG skincare and haircare products, and I'm trying to focus on cruelty-free, although I haven't been very good at that. Finding the contact e-mail or filling out the contact page on a company's website takes the longest. I have an e-mail for skincare and 1 for haircare that I just copy and paste, inserting the company name, why I picked them, etc., in the appropriate spots.

Duchess Marden sent me a package of 9 deluxe samples of their products.  I was impressed with the beautiful packaging, and the products themselves are really nice!  They smell heavenly too!

I never heard back from Hermes. Maybe wrong contact number.
I requested samples from Hermes.  It took them a long time to reply to my request and then an even longer time to receive the samples.  I had forgotten all about them, and then they just showed up in my mailbox one day.

I get a 503 error every time I try to access their website.  It says  their server is down.

I just tried and go the same message about their server being down.  I contacted them through the website and have no other information about them, so maybe you could try again in a day or two?

Will do, thanks!

I sent out a bunch of emails the other day and have some samples on the way, so I'm good for now. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Several months ago I had emailed a number of companies for samples after reading this thread.  I discovered some great products and almost all of my "go to" skin and hair care products I discovered from asking for samples. I still love them but recently, I had been craving change and newness again, so this past weekend I decided to email just a couple of companies for samples of products I had been wanting to try.  The couple of companies turned into several - I swear this is an addiction!  My mailbox will be filling up again soon!

I received a number of samples in my mail today.

DermOrganics (skin and hair care kits - this is the 3rd time I have received these, and love them!)

Acure Organics (2nd time I received samples from them and love them too!)

Paula's Choice

Neo Strata Exuviance

L'Occitane

Lifeline skincare

I have several more on the way, and will post them here once they arrive.
