Hey everybody, I have medium to dark ashy ash brown (I think?) and I've had this insatiable itch to go blonde. The thing is I have NO idea which blonde would be good for me. I was thinking maybe dark blonde like Lauren Bacall or practically white blonde like Jayne Mansfield, or maybe medium blonde is best for me; who knows. Then I have to think about if cool tones or warm tones would be better for me. The thing is I've been told I have olive based skin and then cool toned skin, so that added more to the confusion. Here is my picture (sorry for the ridiculuous coverings, I don't want to put recognizable pics of me online hahaha)

(jeez I made it look like a devil, i'm sorry guys hahahah)

I have emerald green eyes if that helps to choose I color

That's a tuff one. You do seem on the Cool side, which blonde might wash you out. Maybe a lighter brown with some blonde highlites will work?

From the picture you posted, it looks like you have a cool skin tone (but it could just be the lighting).

You could try a color like Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls:

Geez that picture is kinda scary haha

I like the idea of a dark ash blond with lighter blond highlights. Then you could always go lighter if it it too dark.

Don't forget that you will have a lot of maintenance so it will be a commitment.

that picture made me jump! i opened it before reading the bit about you covering it up LOL. you're definately cool olive, it can happen and you're a perfect example! i agree with shaundra's suggestions- that colour would suit you. or if you're still not sure, go into a salon and look at their sample swatches and hold them up to your face to test. you don't have to go through with getting it dyed there, but it will give you an idea of what tones suit you best.

I don't know, it's hard to tell. I would rec. going to the salon just for a consultation and them giving you their professional opinion.
