Well Water Shampoo

Anyone had any luck with shampoo for well water hair? We just had a new well drilled and the water is better, but it still a little hard and I need something ASAP to keep it from damaging my hair any further.

I've never understood the difference. How do you know what kind of water you have? Maybe I've been ruining my hair without knowing it.

my fiance has well water at his home, and he uses garnier fructis... and his hair is gorgeous. so much prettier than mine.. argh!!

I use Garnier Fructis and i think my hair is over it. I need to research and find something that works well for well water but doesn't damage it. I think maybe our well has a lot of iron in it or something.
