Yea, I drink about 60 ounces when I am on track. I am sure that my sister drank way more than that. She has mental disorders that make her take all kinds of things to extreme, whether it be not eating, eating, drinking water, taking meds etc.

You know the other I mentioned in my original post - it makes you sweat SO much less, and sorry if this sounds gross, but sweat just hardly smells when you drink more...I have DEFINITELY checked that out for sure.....

I wasn't expecting that.

I started drinking a minimum of 96 fluid ounces per day for a diet that I've been on for the past 6 months, and I totally agree about the surprising benefits! Also, for those who think 8 glasses sounds daunting (That's usually about 64 fluid ounces), it was to me, too. Then I started drinking three 32 ounce cups or bottles a day, and it made it easier to wrap my brain around and actually get that much in per day.

It was terrible. It usually happens with people that use ecstasy, since the body feels hot and they can take more than 10 liters of water. You can say that everything when done too much can cause harm, even water

Thanks for sharing this information, it would definitely help me.

I've been told tea is good for getting your water intake as well for all you tea lovers out there. It's basically just hot flavored water, just a thought for those who have a hard time getting in their water.

Oh, another suggestion, get a water cooler, it's very convenient and you'll find your self drinking more water.

I know I have to drink my 2 l. every day but sometimes I get so busy at work that I forget and then realise that I'm so thirsty! Mimiboo, thanks for sharing your story...Good reminder of how important it is to drink a lot of water

So annoying

Thanks for posting this, I really want to try it! but...lol...since i was little i would always drink *very* little water and the slightest bit sends me to the bathroom every 10 minutes. how long before that "calms down"? and the bloating goes away? (esp. considering the fact my body is NOT used to me drinking water :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />)

Also...I'm about 90 lbs (5'1"), do you think I also need 2 full liters? :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks

usually after a week or so , the bathroom trips lessen. As far as ounces, I have always heard half of your body weight in ounces. So you should go with about 45-50 ounces. I weigh 105 and I drink abo50- 60 ounces. If I drink more than that is seems to bloat me more.
