Hi guys

I'm new here, so forgive me if this has already been covered!

I have had 'bad' skin for a LONG time. Have tried all sorts of meications....diet changes...creams...etc...etc.

It's SO frustrating, as nothing completely gets rid of the problem.

Recently, I had a 'chance' encounter with a dermatologist in of all places, Sephora in San Antonio Texas. We were both hovering around the bronzers and struck up a discussion 'to NARS or not to NARS'.....

Anyway - I digress.

She looked at my skin and was very honest and helpful - she said a chemical peel would be very beneficial, but above all the key to good skin is drinking lots of water.

I know we have heard this time and time again.....and I can't say water is my fave drink - but I decided to give it a SERIOUS try. 2 litres a day, for 3 weeks now.

IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Less spots. Clearer, plumper skin. brighter eyes. EVERYTHING is better.......simple....just buy a big Evian and carry it around everyday till its gone....another thing I noticed is I almost don't need to wear deodorant - I sweat less.

Apparently, when we drink water, it first nourishes the liver, then the brain, then finally goes to the skin (as it's such a large organ) - thats why we need to drink as much as 2 litres a day.....

Only negs are constant visits to the bathroom (to start with - it calms down after a while)...

Such a simple thing - but I wanted to share it with you...

Anyone plagued by the dreaded zit and it's friends - try it, honestly - you'll see the difference.

I totally agree...water definitely makes the skin clearer and healthier.

Now only if someone can come up with an idea to force the water down my throat! LOL!

I know guys....Ipractically have to force myself to drink it...it's NOT easy....I just live with a bottle by my side now.

Oh yes....I forgot to say.....it also helps to make you less hungry.....YEY!!!!!

and......it's cheap.

A few weeks ago after hearing everyone mention how good water was i tried drinkin it everyday but i always gave up, but i think as from next week i will try my hardest and only drink water and hopefully it will do wonders for me.

I started drinking 2L (8 glasses or so per day) one year ago. Since then, I have seen so many advantages to drinking that much !!! My skin is clearer and seems healthier. (Plus, my thighs have gone from awfull to sexy in terms of cellulitis-is that how you spell it ?). So start to drink water now, and I'm you will see some awesome results.

Yep, me too! Before I gave up sodas almost 15 years ago I had body odor but not anymore so I believe there is something to that.

When I had the stomach flu, I couldn't drink anything but water and I noticed that my face looks totally healthy and glowing without make-up.

I was just talking to my co-worker about this. She said she saw on Oprah (lol) that you should be peeing every hour.

Kelly, if you guys do this, I'm all in on this one this time. I for sure do not drink enough water..and drink way, way, too much soda. It's so darn unhealthy. Plus, I used to love, love, love Calistoga water and drink about 5 bottles a day in California. The stuff over here (bottled and tap) I don't care for at all, and have drunk less and less. Everybody, from docs to massage therapists tell me *you don't drink enough water!*

If we do a challenge, I won't have any more excuses!

Thanks for sharing your story, your amazing results, and inspiring all of us (well, ok, at least I'm inspired..)!

Elisabeth
