Urgent help needed with updoes!!!

Hey guys!

I am in the middle of a hairstyling course, that I have to do before my makeup artistry program! I am horrible at hair, and I need help. I am looking for websites that have step by step instructions so I can figure out what on earth I am doing. Today we learning how to do something called the Shell, and something called a Hot Cross Bun. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good website that I could go to. I need lots of how to guides, and pictures!

I need this info ASAP as we are moving along really fast in this course. I have a manequin head that I brought home to practise on, so as soon as I can I want to practise on it.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but that's one thing I've found which proves to be hard to find on the Internet... Decent pics of hair styles and how-tos!

I have been searching online for two days now. I can't find any updo "how to" guides anywhere. It's so frustrating, because I am in the middle of a two week hair course. (It's part of a makeup artistry program.) Our teacher shows us an updo, and then we have to recreate it. The problem is, I often forget a lot of the steps, and I would like to have some kind of reference for when I am trying them out at home. We have an exam next week, and I want to do well.
