i since i've decided to go natural (in my case i texturizer about every 6 months) it's become more difficult to make sure i trim my ends on a regular basis. in order to get a more uniform trim after washing and deep conditioning i ususally plat my hair in little girl braids to trim my ends. my hair always comes out great. i never trim too much or end up with an uneven do. the problem is that it takes so long to plat even though i only end up with 12 to 15 braids. is anyone out there with kinky, curly hair that has a better way to trim their ends? inquiring minds want to know! thanks!

I am on a relaxer strike (yikes!!) And what i do is twist and snip, you braid, so there's not much of a difference. I can also trim my hair wet, cause I havent seen a split end in years, and that is really the only reason why you want to avoid trimming hair wet.

i only have to do it about once a month, but what a pain in the ***! since my hair is on the bushy side i'm scared to just go for it. i could end up looking like a mushroom head! lmao~
