Lol, i cut my long hair shorter too, now i'm almost afraid of the hairdresser : "-hi, what would you like us to do ? -Just cut the dry ends !! Just the ends !".

Your tips are great. I will add the hair accessories are very important. Most of the time i let my hair down, otherwise i don't really see the point of having long hair (mine is past my shoulders). But when i have to tie it, i mostly use scrunchies, the hair elastics with the metal thingies are a no go.

I also use a serum, mine is great but too liquid so i don't think i'll buy a new bottle. I also use two shampoos, one is regular shampoo very gentle and neutral, and the other is for dry hair and it's so rich i have to alternate it.
