Women are slowly learning to cherish their curly locks and I think that it’s great because curly hair is wild and sexy. There is less management that comes with such beautiful hair when using the right products.
The one thing that plays havoc with curly hair is frizz or halo frizz when exposed to climate changes like wind, rain, humidity, dry heat and cold weather. To date, there had not been a complete cure because all of the hair products manufactured are water soluble.
Mixing and matching brands and having to layer more than 2 products to “somewhat†control frizz forces curly heads to save money by making up home concoctions using all types of herbs, fruits, vegetables, oils and more. Home regimens, like going to bed with hair wrapped in toilet paper, replace the lack of performance that water soluble products offer. You may as well stand on your head waiting for Jupiter to line up with Mars in hopes for great results. Curly heads have tried everything under the sun but now there is a better way to fully achieve great results without tedious regimens for support.
The real culprit is how hair products are made whether "natural" or chemically, both are water soluble. Homemade brews and purchased products breakdown the moment you step out of the door especially if you are faced with intense climate changes like 100% humidity. As you read on, I will explain why this is true.
The amount of moisture locked into the hair shaft is usually calculated by the manufacture shortly after the time of application giving false readings of potential longevity. How long moisture content remains in the hair determines how well water soluble products protect or not protect hair after exposure during climate changes daily or weekly. Product companies would have you believe that their products ("natural" or chemical) retain the optimum moisture content, which is 10 to 11%. What they don't tell you is how LONG the product retains that moisture and controls frizz. Again, product layering and regimes are necessary for a somewhat effective but limited amount of moisture control in the hair. Water soluble product manufactures have high hopes that women will multi-layer products in their hair so they sell more SKU's (number of products in a line), which calculates to huge profits.
Hair product manufactures would rather increase their SKU arsenal rather than change their direction of product development to limit the amount of products that you must purchase to completely control your hair. This would end wasted spending, create less plastic waste in land fills and also leave more room on your bathroom shelf. Now that time has finally come.
It didn't take a Masters in Chemistry to develop a product that does it all and does it all well. Thinking outside the box was required to create the first waterproof product for hair. Now you can "nourish" your hair with just about anything you desire. Lock it in, including the perfect moisture content for your hair. It lasts from shampoo to shampoo regardless of the most extreme climate changes, while also blocking out excess moisture, which causes frizz.
Once you learn a simple, yet diverse application approach, this product not only gives curls that soft, light, shiny and natural look but alleviates that glossy heavy look that makes the hair move in one lump. Hair should flow in the breeze without the aid of hair extensions to hide the true you.
Flat irons are notorious for damaging hair. Manufactures have added temperature controls on the irons in hopes of avoiding damage and breakage but having a temperature control on your iron creates two problems if you don’t have a relaxer in your hair.
1. Lower temperatures force you to go over the hair too many times burning off surface product and in turn burns the hair instead.
2. Water soluble conditioners, moisturizers and thermo controllers dilute or dissipate after 2 to 3 hours. If a flat iron is used again prior to adding more products, your hair gets the raw end of the deal.
Waterproof products, the only one is Moisture Block by Sabino Hair, work the opposite when applied prior to flat ironing. A flat iron can be turned up all the way (400 degrees is minimum requirement) driving the product deeper into the hair shaft and offering complete protection from climate changes and excessive iron heat. If you chose not to shampoo and condition your hair the next day, repeated use of the iron is not necessary.
When moisture is retained longer into the hair, color lasts longer, split ends are less apt to happen, hair stays shinier longer without added product and most important, the product lasts longer saving you time, money and with fuel prices the way they are, that’s a plus.
