I have extremely thin hair which I blow out with a round brush for body ,and use various volumizing and thickening products. But no matter what I use or do- my hair almost immediatly falls lifeless again. My hair always looks flat and I can never get enough body in my roots. I'm also on an extremely low budget. Does anyone have any advice or can recommend affordable prodcuts for me to use to style my hair to make it look as though it has more body? Thank you!!!

The most budget friendly thing to do would be just to tease your roots! A can of hairspray and a teasing comb are all thats needed!

I currently have the John Frida root lifting spray which helps a lot, but it doesn't last very long.

Thanks for your advice, I do have a rat tail comb and hair spray, but I'm not sure if I properly know how to tease my hair. I've tried looking on youtube, but I haven't been able to find a way to tease the front of my hair, such as to give my bangs body- if that makes sense??

For your bangs do a large velcro roller and for the rest of the crown tease. Theres not a right or wrong way to do it. When i tease clients hair I generallylift a 1 inch section away from the scalp....spritz an aerosol hairspray first then tease in an up and down motion...spritz again and hold uo until dry then move on to the next section....dont comb down the hair until all sections are complete.

Tresemme 24 hour body mousse on damp hair brush it back away from the face while blow drying. Mousse also dries out the hair in a way thus preventing oils to build up and weigh down strands.
