Phyto-Defrisant is awesome. You shampoo and condition as normal, then apply it to wet hair and it makes it silky and removes frizz and tangles. Expensive, but worth it because you don't need a lot (dime-size for medium-length hair and nickel-size for long hair). I also like Redken Smooth-down Heat Glide serum. It's meant for blow-drying, but it also works well for air-drying. The trick with it is to apply it to the ends and just a tiny amount to the rest and never to the scalp. I have oily hair and I wash every day with clarifying shampoo, but I agree that it does dry out your hair the longer your hair gets. Also, a good conditioner is Tigi Moisture Maniac.

I know what u mean I have thick and frizzy hair too!! It is curly then when it dries it is so dry and frizzy i dont know what to use. I tried QP elasta gel for the gurl but it just dried it out more!!!

Be sure that you don't apply the conditioner near your roots. I shampoo my scalp, and let the water rinse the soap through to the ends... so it helps it from becoming overly dry. And I just condition the ends to about 1/2 way up my hair.
