Thermasilk...good or bad?

Hey Ladies,

I'm thinking of trying the Thermasilk hair care line for the first time. I would love some feedback from those of you who have used their products. Anything will help, from fragrance, consistency, results..etc.

It's been a long time since I tried it, but I used to like it.

Smells really good, and makes my hair feel really soft. I remember somewhere down the line tho a hairstylist told me not to use it, because since its a heat protector, it holds the heat in your hairstrands and does something. Im sorry i dont exactly remember. Someone else should know what i am trying to get at.

I use their shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment daily and LOVE them!

I've only tried the leave-in frizz control cream and it was horrible.

I use it and I love it. It makes your hair smell really good, and leaves it really soft.

I was told never to use it with a perm. Something about making the curl fall out.

It's not a bad brand @ all. I like it , but prefer HSH to it ...

I was looking for some Thermasilk because I use it on and off, and couldn't find it any where. I asked the sales person at Walmart why they don't carry it, she said that it has been discontinued!

I was surprised at that because it seems to have a loyal following, so I hope that wasn't true. I have looked at 4-5 different stores and no one carries it any more, at least not in Michigan!

i tried it awhile ago i didnt like it i have really frizzy hair and it didnt help at all

The only thing I ever tried of theirs was a volumizing shine spray that you had to shake up before using. The woman on the commerical had long, shimmery, flowing, voluminous locks (as all the women on commericals have). I wound up with nothing of the sort, and I thought this stuff smelled awful. I think I may have used their shampoo/conditioner at a friend's house once but I don't remember how that turned out.

My mom loves it (she blowdries her hair everyday and still has soft hair), I tried it once and it made my hair nice and soft.
