I prefer fake tans but for some reason I end up getting a tan from the sun naturally at some point during the warmer months.

tanning beds is a no no for me. i'm so white that i turn red for a few days. then, i'm white again. so, its a waste. i've used some tanning lotions and sprays. only a select few work out. not a lot. i mostly use them on my legs in the summer time. or else, i use tanning lotions that gradually make you tan after a few uses. other then that, i dont bother.

I agree, I love lying out in the sun even though I have med/dark skin it makes my complexion look even and glowy; I don't think tanning is exclusive to any race.

I go to a tanning bed. I know it's bad for me but... I used to go every day but now I only go a 1 or 2 times a week for a couple of weeks just to get a little color.

I've tanned for real only twice in my life, back in my teens. My father periodically has skin cancers and I grew up watching him come back from a dermatologist's on a regular basis, sometimes with stitches...I just can't safely tan, with those genetics! But as I'm also pasty pale, I use a powder bronzer often, and am in search of a self tanner and a little courage, to actually put it on with ...I have heard Clarins self tanner for face is the best...

the gym i joined has unlimited tanning with a membership and i'm so tempted to go, but i remind myself that when i'm 60, i wanna look 60 and not 90!
