I just purchsed the paul mitchell super skinny serum. I tried the S&C but I returned it because I didn't like it. Is the serum one that looks greasy? Also when I use it is it better to use on wet hair or dry hair? Mine came with a little free bottle too so I was happy! How long could I expect it to last if I use it daily? TIA!

I have had mine for over a year, and there is still a ton left! The trick is to just use a small amount, maybe the size of a nickel, for each use. I slick it through my wet hair, and then blowdry. It is best on wet hair, putting it on dry hair will make your hair greasy. Also, using too much product will cause a grease look.

I agree with everything love2482 says.

Just make sure you have fresh washed hair before applying serum.

Sometimes I apply serum on dry hair, after I have finish styling.

But I focus on the bottom and lengths of hair shaft - avoiding the scalp.

Does it make any difference if you use the PM shampoo or not? I assume not, but just wondering. I'm currently looking for a new shampoo, but not sure what to try.

I really liked how shiny it made my hair look, but you can get shine serums less expensive.

when i use a serum i use just enough the lightly coat my palms so very little goes on my hair and i use mine on dry hair to keep down fly aways but read what the botle says cause with most companies results are garunteed if you follow there directions

One of the Muters recommended Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner - Moisturizing so I thought I'd give them a try.

My hair feels really nice and soft - not straw like how others have described.

Both have silicones in them so I'd recommend them for dryer hair or only apply the conditioner on hair from ears down.

I use Got2b hair serum - I think it does a great job for $5 a bottle.
