I come seeking a no-frills product that my Husband can throw in his hair everyday. He has mounds of tight ringlets that he feels look messy or sloppy, and he is considering chopping them all off...

I adore his long hair, so I'm on a mission!

I have very long, wavy-straight hair, so I really do not know what would be best to buy for him that would tame them, and provide some definition. I doubt that he'd like a heavy mousse or gel. I'm guessing a cream/lotion or leave-in would be best?

Any suggestions or ideas?

 
maybe some smoothing cream or serum would soften them. check out l'oreal's men haircare line.

 
the lightest thing i can think of is a leave in conditioner. that should help to maintain frizz and define curl and wont make him feel like he has tons of stuff in his hair.

is would sugest one that you pump in your hand than put on your hair
