Blonde hair is different from any other type, mainly because of the low levels of the dark pigment eumelanin. Here sre some products to help take care of your blonde hair:

I actually quite like Dumb Blonde Shampoo, even though my hair is as naturally far from blonde as it is possible to be! I'm glad it isn't colour-specific, because it really is a decent product that delivers nice, healthy shine, even on my long, dark strands. Brunettes, don't overlook it, this just could be for you!

thanks, i'll check those. i'm a light brunette so i can use some blonde shampoos (hehe, especially if they smell good).

I realize this is an old thread but I love the Redken Blonde line-in particular the Blonde Glam Treatment/Conditioner Pure Pearl. It really keeps my hair soft and keeps the brassiness away. Another fab product is John Frieda's Mousse from the blonde line which can be found at the drugstore.

I have heard that the John Frieda blonde shampoos and conditioners aren't good for your hair, since they achieve the highlighting effect by stripping your hair down with harsh chemicals. Has anyone else heard this?
