So I decided to just try light blonde highlights instead of going all light blonde as I mentioned earlier...

I used a product from L'Oreal that I hadn't tried before. It took forever and I was super careful, but my hair is totally damaged!!! :scared: It didn't even turn out that great, either! Poo...

My hair is falling out in chunks and feels awful.

I'll see if I can post pics sometime today or tomorrow.

omg, i am sooo sorry, I dyed my hair Friday and it turned red and green. I know how ya feel. And it was a dye that I used before.

Gosh, sorry about that :S

i've never had a bad experience like that with hair dye, ( thank god ) but, i wonder why it damaged your hair so bad?

Thanks for your support, girls!

I posted pics here. I couldn't get shots of all of my hair...I was having a really hard time with the camera. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm thinking about waiting awhile and then dying it darker (possibly auburn) to hide some of the damage (also, for some reason...dying my hair darker helps to hydrate it for some reason).

It's just a major bummer because my hair was starting to get really healthy and I ruined it! lol.

Im sad to hear about your hair issues.. it does look pretty though.. hopefully you can sort it out.. maybe you could buy a leave in conditioner specially for damaged hair to start the ball rolling?

It happens the same with mine, if i dye my hair darker it seems like it actually helps it moisturize it, and if i use a lighter one it dries faster.

your hair doesnt look bad in the pictures, looks good to me, but, pictures are one thing and real life is another :S

you still look great to me though :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I dont get it your hair doesnt look like its falling out in chunks

regardless omg girl .. Im so sorry about what happend.. use organic shampoo

if u can

so sorry to hear that! use treatments and see if that helps! but for what its worth you still look smashing!

you didnt look bad at all but like dareon said pictures are diffrent than real life cause of the lighting.. if you baby it it will snap back some so try not to dye it again right now..

Yeah, I'll be sure to wait awhile. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Thanks, han!

You're so right! Thanks. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That's awful! I guess now you know to avoid it, though... :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'll definitely be on the lookout for anything that can help my hair!

Thanks for being so supportive, girls! I really appreciate it! This has been quite stressful!

:huggies:

Your hair doesn't look terrible in pics at all, but I hope your hair becomes more manageable for you soon!!!

I think it looks good! when I fried my hair biolage shampoos and conditioners really helped. Auburn seems like it would look really good on you, but be careful if you think you might want to lighten in significantly after that b/c I dyed my hair that exact color from auburn and it was SUCH a pain to lighten it without having tons of coppery "hilights" in it forever.
