I had bangs for years and then decided that I would grow them out. The growing out process was HELL. OMG, I pinned them back, slicked them back, pulled them back, put them to the side with pins, etc.

But I am kinda wanting them again. I have not had bangs for at least 10 years.

But also, I don't like having to go to the salon for bang trims, either.

What should I do?

Has anyone went from full-length hair to bangs and did you regret it?

How about starting with long sideswept bangs first, just to see? That's what I did last year when I had a hankering for bangs

they grow back! I stopped wearing bangs like 5 yrs ago but when i go and cut my hair soon im going to cut my bangs.

i actually had full length hair and got bangs last october, it was annoying at first bc i hadnt had them since they were lil but everyone loved them, i actually the bangs swept to the side thing and now i just trim them up everyonce in a while, good luck!

Yeah, totally trim them yourself, it is free! Maybe try some clip on ones first to see if you like them!

I've had bangs for about 4 years now. I wasn't use to them at first but now love them. Some salons that cut your hair will do bang trims for free, others for a small price.

I'll echo everyone else and say do the side-swept first. I had some side-swept ones cut in last year and while I loved them, they were not good for the job I had at the time (always had to have my hair pulled back, so they were constantly falling out), so I let them grow out. I am considering getting them cut back in, though.

I have long bangs...that way if I decide to go all one length with my hair,it wont be such a long ordeal

when i first got real bangs (my old ones had grown out for over a year) i got micro straight across bangs and i hated them. and so i let them grow out and the second they grew out i wanted bangs again

so any way i got bangs again and i love them now i was just in shock by the huge change. So i think you should slowly adapt to bangs
