I really like this hair cut, style:

Bangs:

I've never had bangs for a LONG time...think bangs would suit my face?

(VERY old pic of me..my hair is black like my avator, and much longer: http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=239567 )

I think these are longer side swept bangs. I LOVE her bangs, but not sure if it'd look good on me O_O

ISSUE: I am acne prone..will bangs make me have a billion zits on my forehead? Is there a way to prevent breaking out from there?

Cut:

Hair is very long (like my current length), but seems that the hairs around the face are very short. My fave is quite round, not sure if it will suit my face.

Colouring: I love her streaks! I like how there are thin streaks everywhere, I hate bold streaks. Though I don't want white, I am thinking of a blonde or red, but red washes out correct...? What type of blonde should I go for? But doesn't blonde usually get all brassy after O_O

Never gotten streaks before O_O Would love to try it!

That's a really, really cute hair cut/color/style. I love bangs! I'm not sure about the acne thing. Hopefully, someone way more helpful will reply soon. Please let us know what you decide.

I think it'd look cute on you! You can help keep pimples away by avoiding using too much product on the bangs - and try to keep your hands off. As long as they're not 'plastered' to your forhead, you should be ok. If your face is round, you can still get angles around your face, but you can start them at your chin, (as the shortest layer) and gradually get longer from there down. If you want highlights, you can add a really vibrant red - or if you want blonde, a paler blonde is pretty. I'm more of a thin streak person too... I think really thick chunks are too 'skunky' imo. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> If you want to get a feel for them, get a few on the underside of your hair... so it'll show at the ends. Still noticable, but it'll get you comfortable, step-by-step. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That is a great cut/style Lainey! I like thin streaks of colour as well and think you could go with blonde or red.

thanks gals :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

One last question, think I should get the streaks on natural black hair..or on a chestnut coloured hair?

Get streaks on black hair

I have acne prone skin too, and bangs, and they don't make me break out at all. Even though I put pomade in them. it's the hair on the sides of my face that makes me break out, but probably because I fuss with it with my hands and push it out of the way, wtc. So as long as you don't touch your face you should be fine. The haircut is HOT you should def get it!

I LOVE the hair and think you would look stunning with it. I have acne prone skin and I haven't experienced any problems with my bangs. I waited a LONG time before actually going through with cutting my bangs. I hadn't had bangs since I was 5! Now I don't know what I was waiting for???? I LOVEem'. I say go for it!

Thanks for the advice you guys!! I'll be sure to post pics when I get it done!!

Probably in May after my exams :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

ok - I see what you mean... I didn't know she had that much of it shorter in that first pic... couldn't really tell from the pose. Honestly, I wouldnt' go that far back - for some reason it reminds me of a long 'mullet' look. :wassatt: Usually when you get normal angles or layers around the face, they don't go further back past the ear. And usually the very front pieces are the shortest layer (however short you want) and the rest is tapered down until it blends with the rest of your hair. But like I said, we really don't go futher back on the head past the ears. But, if you like it - then go for it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> And I think streaks on your black hair would look awesome! ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I've always wanted to get bangs but have been afraid to try. You should go ahead, i think you'll look great! And do post pics!

The kind of bangs that she has (in the pic) would look cute on you. And maybe some long layers. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Sorry if I'm replying to this too late.

Take care buddy bear,

Audra

I like this pic, I think those bangs will looks super cute, maybe with layers like mentioned above.
