My Info-- Hair lenght=Shoulder lenght, Hair color=Black, Face shape=Heart~a little bit round, Hair Type=Straight/Kinda Thin

It's about time I've gotten a haircut. And funny thing is I've only been to the salon once in my life so far. :sdrop:

K, I was thinking about this hair cut. I need opinions, like if you like it or if it cut will suit me.

I personally think my forehead is a little wide so I'm liking the bangs...

Also, I'm planning on dying my natural black hair. I've never dyed my hair before so I need some advice. My hair color isn't dark black, just a regular black. (i think it has gotten lighter over the past years)

this is the box i have:

Feria B51

I want to know how the color will show up. The box says it's made exclusively for dark hair.

I appreciate your advice. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I LOVE that haircut!! Hopefully someone will be able to give you advice on the color, I'm not really an expert in that area. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> The haircut is super hot though!

thanks you guys. ^^

i think i'll go for the haircut, but still have doubts about dying my hair. i don't change my appearance too often so i need opinions before i do something new. :sdrop:

will dying my hair make it thin?

my hair is already pretty thin. >_<;;

I love that haircut!

Dying your hair darker shouldn't make it thinner. So no worries.

I wanna see some pics after you get the new cut and color!

i really like the cut! im not sure what kind of hair you have but i wouldnt advise you to get it unless your hair is naturally straight like that or else youll have so much trouble styling it every time, and it will damage your hair.

It's definitly a cute cut! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I haven't tried the new Feria hi-lifts, so I can't really tell you how much lift it'll actually give you. So you might want to do a test strand first in a hidden spot. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

thanks for the advice everyone! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

yes, my hair is naturally straight. but about four years ago my step-mom gave me a perm so it's still kinda wavy at the ends.:icon_conf

so i flat iron it out.

I'm reconsidering getting that haircut because its choppy and has layers. i had layers one for a different haircut and it took time styling and such.

so i'll think i'll go for something like this;

Ok, I got my hair cut. here are some pictures...hope you guys like it. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

(i brought the second picture to the salon) its volume on lenghts, short layers all over, and the ends flipped out.

my skin isn't that light, its because i'm in front of the window and there's light shining. i wish my skin was that light!

also, the back looks nice.. but i don't have a picture.

honestly, when i got out of the salon i did not like it. after constantly staring at myself in the mirror and being forced to get use to the cut (its too short to pony-tie it anyway), I guess I'm okay with this cut.

*dusts*

wow, looking back at this thread hard to believe I looked like that.

(I didn't want to create a new thread, so I figured I'd revive this one)

I need your opinions concerning another style.

To start off, I'll describe my current hair.

Short, (still) Thin. My hair no longer has layers, I grew them out.

Let's see, picture. (not so good) But just to show you my current hair.

My hair is like a blunt cut, but not quite. And I'm afraid that it just makes my hair appear flater, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm willing for a change.

So questions...

How would I style this?

Is this a good cut for my hair type?

Your thoughts?

(also wanted the side bangs)

I think the hair color will work if you are achieving similar, subtle results as the model.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I decided to get a cut similar to Kristin's. I've always preferred short hair but I'm just nervous others won't like it. >o<

As for the side swept bangs, the stylist said I had to wait until my shorter bangs (from previous haircut) will grow out, until then I'll have to train my hair to the side everytime.

I'll try to post up pictures whenever I can.
