Sephora Chic Week 2013

The bag is cute but I haven't used it as a clutch! My sisters doesn't like it but who cares /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> haha i really like the bag tho

Oh NM, it's described as clutch. @vicckyhoang or anyone else who owns this, do you think the clutch is nice enough to carry as a bag?

Idk, but I've been wanting to try that Stila Duo for awhile. I think it is sort of like a Kitten deconstructed kinda thing, like one color is pink and one is champagne and together they create Kitten. I'm allergic to many powder blushes so won't be getting In the Glow, but I have Tarte Cheek Stains and Stila Convertible Colors and I like both products. The Tarte ones are really cool bc they are fragranced and all the ones I have smell amazing.

I've been considering that Glitz and Glam Sampler since the holiday sale (it's come back in stock randomly a few times). I've never bought it bc I don't want the bareMinerals e/s of the Josie Maran mascara, I would like everything else in the set. The gold makeup bag looks really cute in the pic though, I wonder if it could be used as a clutch.

I want this set too!!! I want all those items (except the mascara) and I'm all about glitz and glam. But I just brought some stuff and wish they had it up sooner. If they keep adding older products I might be broke by the end of the week.

That's how I feel too. I just got In the Glow and Glitz and Glam... But I told myself I won't be buying anything else until June. I probably should stop hanging out in the 'Coupons and Promos' section of MUT

Glow and Glitz and Glam are amazing. I bought them both around the holidays and they are my my fave Sephora sets yet....well, those and the fragrance one from the holidays. I say, go for it!!!!

Yeah I need to stop stalking this section and the "Makeup Talk" section lol. I really want Glitz & Glam but I'll pass :/ I refuse to let Sephora have any more of my money (at least for the next couple of weeks)

So I'm browsing Sephora and wondering what you all consider to be a HG eyelash curler? The one I currently have is terrible!

The two I love aren't sold at sephora. My fave brands are Kevyn aucoin & shuumera. The sephora brand curler is Terrible. It crimps my lashes abt halfway, rather than at the base. I don't like the crimped look- my lashes are too short

I looove my Shu! It is worlds better than others i have tried, best twenty bucks i've spent (back when sephora sold it). I buy Japonesque (I think it is? Lol) refill pads to use in my Shu. I have heard ebay sells a lot of Shu frauds, just FYI.

My lashes don't hold a curl well and if I use my Shu + light coat of lengthening mascara on the upper half of my lashes on front/back + Mally Volumizing Mascara = drag queen lashes that stay curled all day. Loooove it! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks! Yeah I found one that's legit based on research that I did on fakes.

My lashes don't hold a curl either. I've heard using a waterproof mascara will correct it, but I have way too many unopened tubes of mascara I need to get through before I can buy a waterproof formula.

Do you think it's just best to buy directly from the Shu Uemura website?

My order went through a whole revision process.

I wanted to pick up the Bite Beauty lip set and the Too Faced Sweet Indulgences Palette, but both went out of stock before I placed my order. =(

I am a complete newb when it comes to concealers.  I've never used one or owned one, but I get dark circles and I wanted to brighten my eyes up some. Initially, I was going to get the Benefit Fake-up. I had a sample of the YSL Touche Eclat and the first shade, the 01, just did nothing for me. But I  figured I'd give the next one a try, just to see- and it worked really nicely. Difference in the undertone, I think.

I wanted to get the Feelin' Dandy Benefit Lip & Cheek set, but that one went out of stock too. (I heard that the Dandelion blush is so very pretty, and I still do want to try it at some point, but the one in the Coral tones set will, I think, look pretty for spring and summer) They still had it in this morning, but I held off because I was waffling on the Météorites Powder-

I really wanted to try a nicer powder, and all the reviews said that it was the sort of thing that lasted for years (Which for me, sort of off-set the really high price point) but I kept saying to myself, but it's so pricey- and I have Neutrogena powder, which is just fine~

But my husband (who is patient with me, to almost saintly levels!) said, "You don't have a concealer at all, and no blushes, so it's just stuff you need." And my birthday is Tuesday, so I'm calling the powder a little present to myself!

I bought the Meteorites powder during the holidays, with my discount coupon, and I love it. I wear it everyday, and it really makes my skin look glowy. I like to imagine I look like Cate Blancet in the Lord of the Rings movies.

I had the same 'problem', and I tried various more expensive mascaras, until I got so intrigued and decided to try Covergirl Lashblast. My eyelashes stay curled all day! Now I'm not sure what to do with so many unopened mascara tubes. I also have an opened Tarte Gifted, They're Real, and Clinique High Impact, but the Covergirl one is really the best for me!

I'm so curious about the Meteorites powder, but it's a little expensive. LOL

haha same "problem" here too, I have a ton of unopened mascaras both full-size and deluxe-size (lancome, clinique, benefit, MUFE, UD, Stila, etc etc), but I recently bought a L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes which I love and has become my new everyday go-to.  Now all my unopened mascaras have become this huge burden!  How will I ever get through them all? LOL

I was the same way until I received a NYX one in a prize package....it works SO well!
