Just picked up two things- the Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet and a $9 bottle of divine oil from Caudalie. I have over 600 beauty insider points saved up but I never see a nice 500 pt kit to spend it on.

....I feel like there should be a romance book out there somewhere with that storyline lol

Argh, I'm thinking of getting the Silk'n Flash N Go hair removal thingie and a set of occ lip tars.   I agree I never see anything good for 500 points but I snag up several of the Algenists when they have them for 100 pts (last time I did 4 separate orders just to get the Algenist LOL)

I have a Silk'n, it's the Bella Lite from Costco that came with 3 cartridges. Overall I'm happy with it. It varies in effectiveness depending on what area you use it on. Just have realistic expectations about it so you won't be disappointed.

Great, thanks, I will try to be patient with it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Nice. I got the Cinderella Palette and Quad back during the VIB sale and am planning to get the Jasmine Palette and Quad this time. I see the Cinderella polish set is back in stock so I might need to get both of those as well. No self control.

Ooh, I've been thinking of getting it too!  Based on your experience, would you say it's worth the $$$?  I read the reviews on Sephora, and some of them mention that it's not a permanent hair removal system....if you stop using it all the hair eventually grows back.

Lol now that I'm getting the Cinderella one I want the Jasmine one now too. Can't wait to see what Ariel's collection will look like!

I'm happy with mine. I got the Bella Lite from Costco, which is the same as the SensEpil Sephora sells for $500. I paid $300 for mine and it came with three cartridges. Results do vary from person to person and skin and hair color do impact it's effectiveness, I'm fair with medium brown hair. I'm not sure why on the F&G description they describe it as permanent since it uses the same HPL technology. I have some areas on my legs where hair has never grown back and some areas where it is still growing. I do think the hairless areas will eventually grow back after several months but one quick treatment should take care of it for several more months. It also depends what area of the body you use it on since hair color and texture vary. I have had the most success on my lower legs and bikini area and the least success on my underarms. My skin is very sensitive and it used to get very irritated after shaving, my unit has made my hair grow in slower and thinner since the first use which is a major reason I'm so satisfied. I don't think it's necessary to wait 2 weeks between treatments, especially if you buy it now since you can't get sun on treated areas, you can push treatments closer together. It is nice to wait a week or so in order to see the regrowth because you should have a few bald rectangles after the first time. I've never had any burning or irritation from it other than the snapping feeling and the lamp itself getting a little too hot. I even double zap my underarms to try to get rid of the rest of the hair. The biggest negative for me is the skin tone sensor is terrible, it frequently says my skin is too dark and locks up, at which point it has to be plugged into another outlet. I've found shadows and too bright lighting can cause this to happen. Also it can be hard to tell which areas have already been zapped. I think the F&G has a smaller surface area than the Bella so if you are planning to use it on your legs I would get the Bella. I hope this was helpful for you.

I'm planning on collecting all the palettes and quads. I missed the Cinderella Compact but did get the Jasmine one, they really didn't make enough of either. I really think Sephora did a great job with these collections. IMO the Jasmine Palette is not as beautiful as the Cinderella Palette, I probably would have liked it more if it was all shadows instead of the blush and bronzer.

LOL, "a few bald rectangles" sounds funny!  I had it in my list to purchase at the next Sephora 20% off event, but wow if it's that much cheaper at Costco then I might as well go tomorrow and see if my Costco carries it!  Can you also get replacement cartridges at Costco or do you end up ordering them online?

I definitely would be using it on my lower legs.  I used to be fine shaving but in the last couple of years or so, my legs get itchy and rashy after shaving so I was hoping for a better solution.

Thanks so much for all that great information!  You can read review after review after review, but just hearing from a "live" person makes all the difference :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

OMG. why is Sephora bringing back stuff I missed out on!? I wanna get the Sephora Favorites In the Glow and Glitz and Glam now too!

No problem, I know product reviews on sites like Sephora are not always reliable. Costco.com sells replacement cartridges I think they are like $50 each or there's a two-pack that's like $87 but it's on sale right now for $69.99. I'm planning to pick it up after Chic Week since I'm now on my third cartridge. I bought my unit on the website because i dont have a Costco in my city so idk if its sold in stores. That sounds like the same problem I had with shaving and this definitely alleviates that, even if it doesn't get rid of all the hair entirely it's worth it to me for that alone. Prior to purchasing this I purchased a wax pot as a shaving alternative, but it was painful and messy plus I would get ingrowns and never had an actual reduction in growth. If you don't notice those "few bald rectangles" after the first few uses you might just want to return it because that should give you an indication of whether it will work on you.

Weird.  I just got my tax refund, so I want to go on a spree, but I can't really find anything I want badly enough to actually place an order.  Well, actually, I want the Benefit Feelin' Dandy kit now that I know how nicely Posietint plays with my coloring, but it's not in stock.  I *think* I saw it in stock at either a JCP Sephora or an Ulta, but I specifically want to place an order.  I *do* have an unused Cabana Glama set from the September PopSugar box that I could dig into, but I told a friend I would give it to her (on the other hand, I told her Labor Day weekend that I would give it to her and haven't seen her since, so maybe this is the universe's way of telling me that she's not supposed to get it after all).

Couldn't help myself and picked up a couple of palettes (palette obsessive!) and some other replacement bits: Tarte Aqualillies Palette Kat Von D Ladybird True Romance Palette Kat Von D True Romance - Star crossed Quad Diorshow Iconic Mascara Shiseido Eyelash Curler

Does anyone know what their exchange policy is during the sale? I was gifted a Too Faced Secret to No Makeup Palette about a week ago and just realized I'm allergic to the luminizer. Will they give me credit for the regular price or deduct the 15% from my credit? I obviously don't have the receipt since it was gift, but would like credit in the amount actually spent.
