Were you able to get the points when you ordered using the 150 points code (with different email address)?

I just placed an order using 150 points code (even purchased Flash to not spend extra $30 on things I don't need in order to get free shipping) but the points were not applied. Code e-mail address is different from my account e-mail address. Do you think the points only go to the email address which the code was issued for even though the item appears on the invoice?
