HEYHEYHEY I'm only the RUINER of plans, we don't GIVE away ideas over here ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
I just dont know what to get, I think im going to take that as a sign that I dont need anything at the moment and go to sleep. Hopefuly I wont regret this in the morning.

this is awesome! why is this the first time i'm seeing this??

i have a ton of brown(out) and black stocked up, but i've wanted to try the other colors! this is one of my favorite liners out there!
This is probably my favorite holiday set this year. All solid performers. It's a real steal too, given the amount of product in the minis is almost as much as the full size. And if you have a full size already, you don't really need the built in sharpener. It's like buy 2, get 5 free!

What do you guys think of the Hello Kitty eye shadow palette and the Buxom face palette? They are both on sale at Sephora right now...would love your feedback on them...I don't trust just ANYONE's opinion! LOL!

Thanks!

Edit to add that this is a cross post from the enablers thread.  Really REALLY need opinions on these!  :unsure2:

I dunno, I lurked for a long time before joining. I would like to add though that if I had used a code I would have joined to post that it was taken though, even if it was my only post.
And that's the difference IMO :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

@ The Hello Kitty got horrible reviews on Temptalia, but that was at full-price... I dunno, I wouldn't go for it.

I have the Hello Kitty and though I haven't used all the colors, the ones I have used have good pigmentation and lasting power. There is some glitter fallout on the really sparkly shades, though. I wouldn't buy it at full price but at $29 (?) it's a nice, colorful palette.

I didnt think the naked on the run was too big, just whatever your intended purpose is? Its similar in size to the bare minerals ready to go, i have the bare minerals one and i just throw it in my gym bag, and i keep it at work and on travel. I wouldnt take it for touchups goingout, too bulky, and it would probably get damaged rolling around in my big canvas bag.

The thing i didnt like about the naked on the run is there are no color variations, and the case doesnt allow you to add brushes or pencils unless they fit into one of the existing occupied slots (mascara, lippie, eye pencil).

ETA i saw the naked on the run at sephora inside jcp and originally intended to purchase when i double dipped but decided against it because i didnt love all the colors. I found other things though :)

I saw the Naked on the Run in person too.   I didn't think it was as big as the pictures are showing.  Or maybe its like a crime scene where I think I saw things a certain way.  The shadows looked like colors I would find in my Naked3 palette.  So, that being my focus I moved on very quickly.  Its possible, I missed the size.

I guess I am hoping it goes on sale like the face cases did last year.

I folded like a cheap suit and used my code. I ended up using my code for a YSL rouge volupte shine in fuchia in  excess and a Benefit blush in Dallas.
So funny! "I folded like a cheap suit..." HAHAHAHA!

So...ahem...I see you didn't cave and get the Hello Kitty palette on sale, or the Buxom kit on sale...not interested in those?  I'm desperate for feedback...can you tell?? LOL!

I think someone may have replied to you about those in another thread. While I wouldn't have gotten it at full price, I think the Hello Kitty one might be worth the sale price, if you are a HK fan. I debated picking it up, but finances are a bit tight and it would be a bit wasted. My makeup is stored out of sight in a drawer and I couldn't just leave it out on display, due to the real kitties getting curious about everything. Also, the pull out drawer kind of annoys me. But then I keep thinking back on how cute it is..

ETA: apparently I can't type today.

Does anyone know if you buy online with a 20% code (ok two 20% codes...shhhhh) does the online ordering system reset after a certain period of time and not let you order again?  For example, I ordered once...doubled up...I ordered again about 13 hours later, and was able to use another 20% off (only one...otherwise I would have had to pay shipping...wasn't worth it at that moment).

So I have a new email from Ulta, new codes to use, and it won't take them, or if the code is accepted it doesn't show the discount...I'm confused....is this a temporary hiccup with the website do you think or am I SOL because I already got 40% then 20% off?  But...new codes!  UGH.  Anyone??

Hi Dots, I'm so with you on the Bite products! More natural ingredients with HUGE color payoff (especially on the crayon) and non-sticky glosses! Hoping to get to their NYC site someday to do the custom color!

BTW I'm relatively new here, so hi all! My name is Angela and I am a long-time makeup junkie. Sephora is my kryptonite and I'm also a Birchbox subscriber. I've been reading the MUT threads for months and now that I have some time off between jobs, finally took the plunge to actually register.
I'm trying to catch up!  WELCOME!!  I like how you describe your relationship with Sephora, I think that is a very true statement for most of us here!! LOL!

I've only been here a few months or so - didn't lurk before...but I would really like to propose we all get paid for the amount of time we hang out on here!!  LOL!!  Well, not me yet, but there are great ladies here posting all sorts of good info, resources, tricks etc.!

Again - welcome Angela!!  :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

@ said: tbh she wanted the N3, but finances are in the way. I kind of want to get it for her as a treat, but I don't know how she'd take that (i mean I think she'd be really excited, but I sent her stuff earlier this year too, and I don't want her to feel weird like she ~owes me something)
I struggle with doing things like this too - giving too much (sounds funny now that I typed it) but if you won't have a problem with it - then go for it!!  Your friends that are close enough to warrant a gift like that, must know you pretty well.  You give because you want to, not because you pity them or feel like you have to give because they can't get for themselves or whatever the feeling on the other side might be...but you know what I mean there, right?

If you are super duper uncertain, like over worrying about it - then decide not to do it, and stop the worrying! I can say that with my head held high, because my friends tell me that all the time so I know what to say - but I'll be damned if I can practice what I preach!  Oops!

Hmmm, maybe I'm not being very helpful here...well I hope you are able to decide and not worry about it though!  Because it's the most wonderful time of the year! :laughno:

Yes, I'm SO glad it came back b/c I was so sad I had missed out on it! Definitely seems like an amazing value and they really are the only pencil form liners that stay on me!
