I think that's in December, as Sephora's "Christmas gift" to us. I think it's $15 for BIs and $20 for VIB/VIBR. It's supposed to be a discount off of $50, but since they give it in the form of a gift card pin you technically don't have to spend $50 to use it. At least that's how I remember last year being.
Thanks! Okay, maybe I can hold on to my wishlist until then and hope that everything is still in stock, since I'm not supposed to be buying anything at the moment.

I have made returns to Sephora by mail and don't include the samples. When I have tried to return to the Sephora closest to where I live they insist I bring back all the samples. The store is a over an hour away and it was annoying to drive there and they didn't let me return my item.
wow that's not cool, sephora's policies don't ask for the item back!

I would call sephora corporate on them!

Didn't they send a gift card of some type to people last year? For something like $15 off? I can't remember what time of year it was, though, so I don't know if I missed it.
that's later in the year, december.

I was talking about regular Beauty Insiders. I think last year Sephora gave Beauty Insiders 15% off, but I haven't seen that promotion this year for them. But Rouge and VIB members are allowed to send a 20% off one-time-use code to anyone (not just BI) using the link I posted. I was just trying to remind people about that.

VIBs should be able to use their code starting tomorrow, yes.
last year the november sale was only for vib/rouge. bi 15% off is in april. it's actually always been like this, at least for the past few years... vib only sale in nov. a few years ago the f&f sale in oct used to be open to all tho.

sorry to be such a stickler but i don't want others to see the false info and think sephora is doing things different or something. so far they've stuck to the same schedule of sales/promos as in the past, with the only discernible difference this year being some new rouge-only codes.

also, i had to cave to get the holiday set... i had been doing so good, even not ordering using those bonus point codes. but i had 2 right-above-$25 items i wanted to get so i figured why not... it's been awhile!

got the dior mascara set with the shadow (since i reeeeally wanted that but it was rouge-only) and nars concealer. i tried the concealer in store yesterday and i think i'm going to like it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  i love how they had 2 codes this year for vibs and bi, so i could get 2 sets. i thought they would do 3 codes, one for rouge, so the rougers could get 3 bags... that would have made perfect sense to me. maybe they'll do it next year.

I remember trying to buy the Origins set and being told I need to spend that fifty cents more for the code to work so I do think there is a min amount you need to spend to get that Sephora Dec GC. She said to add a sharpner since that was the cheapest thing.

I would call too. I only return to a store [130mi round trip], occasionally,

but I've never had to return my freebies either to Sephora.

If you think about it, those are manufacturer's giveaways to get you to try & buy bigger sizes,

so they shouldn't be asked for back.

Sephora probably got them free or very cheap in conjunction with the manufacturer so should

not care if you return the freebies.

It's to Sephora's benefit too, to let you keep them for more potential, later bigger sales and to keep

customers happy.

If I had driven that far & was turned away over not having the samples with me,I'd call Sephora

800 right that minute from the store and ask if the clerk was doing it right.

yeah i would call the 1800 number since sephora never requires gwp to be returned. on that note i think it's really greedy/useless of any company to require it in the first place. Sephora, nordstorm, ulta, etc get those deluxe samples/rewards for free in the first place from the brands for every x amount of dollars that they spend with them, so it's not like they're paying for the samples. Plus even if a customer has made a return and brought back the gwp, there's nothing they can do with it especially if it's been used.

No worries; thanks for clarifying then! I must have mixed it up with April. All the more reason for us Rouge/VIBs to share a one-time-use 20% off code!

I received my blitz bag (probably not the correct name) and I really like it! I will be ordering another #1 bag with the other code, big thanks to @@tweakabell for the review of the eyeshadow primer, the sample in bag 1 is just calling for a twin %)

Do you know with how many people you can share the one time use code?

@@SaraP, do you know what the review was on the eyeshadow primer? I'm still trying to decide on a bag. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

LOVE the Smashbox 24 hour primer!! I got a sample last time I was at Sephora because the SA was raving about it & I'm seriously impressed by it. That's the next sample bag I'm grabbing, just for that!

@@SaraP I just got mine today and was thrilled to see the baby primer in there. I own so many full sizes it'll probably go in a gift bag but it was adorable to see!

The smashbox has been my go to primer most of this year since I received a full size sample from a fan friday code. I swear by it now.

It was on @@tweakabell s blog, she did a post just on the primer and then did a post on an Elf set and the primer made those shadows go from blah to ya I'd wear that :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Am I missing something on why you would split the orders other than the 3 free samples? Because you can't use a 20% code and a sample code right?

Maybe for the free sephora tote? I was actually thinking about making 2 orders to get 2 - they're just like a reusable grocery bag but they're pretty cute/sturdy and I could always use an extra.
