Thank you, it was fairly easy. I like the rubber tip I'm just not crazy about the price.

They had a gift with $40 Benefit product and or service purchase so I ended up buying the liner yesterday and getting my eyebrows done. I find that the rubber tip makes it easier to get close to the lash line so I can get a skinnier line. I normally have a problem since I am impatient.

I really wanted to try this sample, but I've done so well on my no buy :w00t: and I think I'm all done purchasing for Summer Swap. I really want to purchase the 2 Kat Von D eyeshadows for $15 and $25 is far off from there....

Those shadows look so pretty. I hope they don't sell out, I like having a whole bunch of things around $10 to play with in my cart

I did this the other day too.  Brows and the new liner.  Except they were out of the GWP, except not, since my friend got it later that day.  Anyway, Im pretty fed up with Ulta.  They totally screwed up my last order, forgot a bunch of stuff, etc. Not the first time either.  I seem to get the incompetent workers packing my stuff!  <_<

It does, you can also get a REALLY skinny line, which was cool.
It certainly does!  I got a sample in a Sephora order for my SwapBuddy, and couldn't resist trying it out yesterday.  It made the nicest tightline at the base of my upper lashes (I'm not a cat eye kind of girl), and didn't seem to smudge or smear.

But it was really hard to tell how much product I was using.  I think I did 2 clicks for each eye ... and I needed 6 cotton pads to get it all off when I cleaned my face last night.  May give it another whirl, though I'm still going strong on a KvD Tattoo sample liner that I opened about 6 weeks ago.

ETA: Just to clarify -- I got the sample for me, not my Swapster; the rest of the order was for her.  I wouldn't send anyone a used eyeliner! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hmmmm......this interests me now. I don't know if it's my complete lack of self control or my fat fingers or what but I swear I can NOT get my eyeliner to look daytime appropriate with liquid liner. I loveeeee bold liner for night, but it looks a little odd in the office. I'm intrigued.

They are usually so unhelpful, I never go there but none of the other stores had what I was looking for. I was shopping for something on my swap buddy's wish list.

p.s. its super black, I surprised myself in the mirror washing my hands.

Hopefully it was a good shock, love it when I look in the mirror and am shocked by how good I look that day.

So I'm not really big on cat eyes so I did a baby one. We'll see how it holds up during the day as when I tested it out the other day it flaked into my eyes. The application I find I needed 2-3 clicks to get the coverage I wanted and I didn't even do a large wing so I disagree with their one click does both eyes statement. I like the clean line it gives I sometimes have issues getting crisp lines and this one was well defined. If you have an already established cat eye routine I'm not sure this will be any groundbreaking application method but I think it's a nice carry around gel liner, not sure it's worth the $21 (?) price.

I REALLY WISH I COULD SIZE THE PICTURES AGAIN! So sorry about pic size but I'm not resizing them just for MUT
I like your eyeliner job, I think it looks nice with your eye shape.  Is that your new ear cuff you mentioned before?  I like it!

It is. Hubby likes it too but I feel it should be slightly shorter or slightly longer. I like it but I keep looking at it, it could just be that I'm not used to a cuff.

A kitten eye/ tiny wing will be the most "cat eye" like liner you'll see me with. If I make the wings longer or thicker my eyes start to look weird. I don't think my eyes are proportioned well for a full on cat eye.

Edit because apparently Tweakabell forgot her manners: Thank you!

Quick before and after. approx 15 hrs later with a 2 hour nap eyeshadow is perfect, mascara (better than sex)  and liner are both meh and patchy, not impressed with the staying power of either.

Got this via email today.  $25 minimum

I found my eyeliner to stay really well despite my oily eyelids. I wore mine for over twelve hours before it started to get patchy but I was rubbing my eyes a bit because I was tired. About an hour later I could take it off no makeup remover my face was so oily. It looked like I had sprayed a bottle of oil on my face. Darned humidity and sea air! I remember reading that Courtney Cox would use toilet seat covers as oil blotting papers I don't think even that would have been enough yesterday.

So I've been trying out my new Marc Jacobs lovemarc lip gel in the "cabaret" color (the one that is included in the 1k point perk duo).  I don't like it, it'll be returned.

I like the formula, and I like how it looks when first put on... but it fades super fast, and to an unflattering "old lady rouge" color.  Super obvious that it faded too, has that yucky "I'm too lazy to reapply my lipstick" look.

I also got my deluxe they're real liner today, and so far I do like it.  I don't normally wear black eyeliner, I find it a bit harsh on myself, but this one is nice.  This promo size one will last me forever/until it dries out (which ever comes first, lol).  I don't think I'd buy a full size though, unless they came out with colors.  I always get that stupid smear along my upper eyelids from my stupid hooded eyes... so far no smearing though, which is nice.

I also like my Fan Friday tube of Bumble and Bumble hairdresser's oil conditioner.  Now I have both the free shampoo and conditioner, along with the full size oil.  My hair was super nice today (until I wilted in 90 degree heat on a walk, lol).
