My understanding is that the VIB 10% discount can be used once in each calendar year AFTER you meet the VIB limit in that year.

It apparently didn't occur to Sephora until now that they should send the VIB "welcome" code to people who hit Rouge in 2013 when they hit VIB in 2014. Seems they thought they would just send the nail polish if/when we requalified for Rouge. These are just "catch-up" emails, as I understand it. You'll only get one if you've spent $350 in the 2014 calendar year.

I snagged the tarte cheek stain point perk and a nail buffer for me (I can always use a nail buffer, and I needed *something* low-dollar in order to place this order) and a few point perk/sample items for my FGC! I just hope they all ship. Normally, I wouldn't really care, but there's a reason I got this particular combination of things, plus I'm spending *points*, so if they substitute a point perk, I'll raise a fuss.

Oh man I really want the tarte perk but I'm not spending $50 to get it and I'm too lazy to go to the mall. Let us know what you think when you get it!

Is there somewhere that verifies that? Because I hit VIB last spring, and I haven't spent more than 255 this year but I can use the codes. Or are you referring to getting a nail polish if you've spent 350 in 2014? Either way, as long as the codes work I'll probably use the free shipping one /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

ETA I'm not trying to argue, I'm just trying to understand Sephora's codes, this is all still sorta new to me, I haven't been a VIB for a long time.

It looks like it is just that one color.  I got that and the Too Faced bronzer.  I was hoping I could get the lighter color but the regular one was the only one available.  I've wanted to try to practice contouring so I'll still use it!

The nail polish is for people who were Rouge last year and who requalify for Rouge again this year. If you weren't Rouge last year, I believe you get the lipstick instead of a polish as your Rouge welcome gift.

As for the codes, the 10% discount code that you get when you hit VIB (spend $350) is supposed to be a one-time per year code after you qualify/requalify for VIB each year. There was definitely an issue that Sephora wasn't sending the VIB welcome "kit" when people who hit Rouge last year hit VIB this year (the forum on the Sephora site has a lot of complaints about that).  

Sephora's codes are known to be kind of wonky, so it doesn't really surprise me that you could use the VIB codes even though you haven't spent $350 this year. I'm assuming you used it last year, but if you didnt, maybe that's why you can now?

Caved on the VIBGIFT code and made a small order. It's such a good code that I didn't even mind sucking it up and paying shipping. I'm really excited to try the dipbrow, I'm always so paranoid that my brows will smudge because I just use regular eyeshadow so I'm really hoping it works out.

oh yikes. Is there a particular brand of primer you use? I usually use UDPP or The Balm's Put a Lid on It and I can't imagine using either on my brows because of the colour/texture of them. I was cuddled up with the boy last week and we were joking how my brows might imprint on his face. I already get lipstick all over his face, I'll basically be giving him accidental makeovers every time I see him if my brows start migrating too - I can't imagine he'll be too happy with that!

This is such a good idea, I never even thought about using primer in my eyebrows!

I just use whatever I used on my lids. I don't apply directly, I'll put it on the back of my hand and lightly apply with my finger. Working into the skin under the hair. I use a spollie to remove any from my hairs. I really like the primer from last month's Glossybox (can't think of the name). But all my primer have worked well.

thanks for the info! That makes a lot of sense! I'll give it a try with one of the UDPPs I have if I find I have a smudging issue as well. I'll probably still stay away from put a lid on it though because it's very greasy in texture and I only use it when I'm trying to pack on vibrant eyeshadow.

Ahh, I had been going back and forth on the Fresh code for over a week, but with a $35 minimum + shipping it made the most sense to spend $50 and get free shipping and I'm on a low buy...  BUT I just found it on eBay.
