I'm just gonna put this out there and ya'll can say "man... Jess is really dumb!" But I ... I don't think I understand -- what do you do with the Hourglass ambient lighting stuff?? Like it's it setting powder? High lighter? I don't get it? (Runs away in shame)

I think that certain colors are intended for the full face, but some of the colors can be used as a bronzer, while others are used as highlighters. Anyway, that's just what I understand about them.... I am most curious about ethereal light (highlighter) and mood light (full face).

i've owned both - in the end i traded the guerlain for ambient lighting powder - possibly the guerlain was the wrong color for me, not sure - i didn't feel like it did much for me.  I MUCH prefer the ambient lighting powder - and it's easier to use!
What color did you have the meteorites in?

Thank you, that's the color I am thinking of buying. I feel like buying the ALP palette is a better idea with summer coming up because even though I stay extremely pale, my freckles get dark and I feel that the meteorites would cast a white veil.

had i not already traded and gotten Dim, i'd have snatched up the palette!  I may still, bc I seem to have misplaced my Dim :/  but knowing it's perm now, i'm not as much in a rush!

I don't really understand it either but..I have it in Dim Light and I'm obsessed. It just..makes my skin look infinitely better than if I just wear foundation. Like real life photoshop. It's magic!

Dim Light is included in the palette, but I think I'm going to buy it anyway!

I have Dim Light and I like how it doesn't look like powder. I think it's supposed to improve the look of your skin without being noticable. I wish I would have known the palette was coming out it would be nice to have 3 shades to play with. If I actually make a dent I will be looking into the palette.

I own both the palette and Dim Light.  I don't regret it for a second!  I love patting Dim Light around my nose after I place my blush; it helps eliminate the natural redness around my nose and diffuses the blush I inevitable place too close to my nose area.  I recommend the Real Techniques Powder, Blush, or Multitask brush with the ALP.  I am not a powder girl and I adore this product!

I really want the palette now, get it together self, you need to stop buying!!!!

But I have a huge list of loves on Sephora and I want it ALLLLLLL!!!!

Someone shake me, slap me, tranq me, do whatever, just stop me from buying.

The SiJCP Summer Stash is SO MUCH MORE up my alley.  And I'm gonna be needing a new mini of that mascara soon.  If only there was a SiJCP around me :/

I had to cover for someone yesterday and I took pics real quick.

The only thing I am not sure of, is what the tube is in our Summerstash... I think it may be becca? but not sure.

Ooooh, I'm definitely popping in to mine!  I want that lash stash.. not like I need more mascara but for $25 for all of these and then to be able to get a full size??  I can't pass that up. I'll probably get the meet your match, too and who knows what else.. I just placed a huge nordstrom order with 10% off.. it's my birthday this weekend so I've been buying ridiculous amounts of makeup with all the sales!

I like the SiJCP sets more. I love all 5 of the mascaras in this version of lash stash.

So, I'm trying to find the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Candy. Apparently this is the Sephora exclusive shade! But I dont see it online. Anyone know if this is just in stores? Or maybe it sold out? It's so beautiful!

On a slightly diffrent product issue, I've freckles too and the Skin IQ takes an average of skin and freckles for foundation and when I put it on, I just look like I have dark splotchy face but if I go lighter then the freckles just looks strange, so I just gave up on foundation.  Now I just use the Marcuja oil to even out my skin tone as much as possible.

Yeah, I'm at the point of giving up on foundation too! Every time I go to get "color matched" they take my freckles into consideration but not my actual skin color so my foundation is never right. Unfortunately, my skin isn't flawless so I need some type of coverage but BB's and CC's are too greasy and jouer matte moisture tint is too drying. Someone help me! I need an adult.

is that effective for you?  my ultimate goal is to even out my skintone but haven't had much success :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It's worked for me!  I've tried Murad's Vitamin C mask, skin ligthening serums and a slew of alternatives, 'cause I've got some age-spots...

I used the Maracuja because I ran out serum and read that it can be used like a serum.  About one week into it, without looking for change I was surpised to observe that my sun-spots and age-spots were noticebly faded and skin-tone more even.  I like the ease of it too, as it's not a mask so no rinsing and it's moisturizing enough for sleep if I forget to put cream on top of it.

I think Sephora's got a code for a trial-size or get a week's worth of tester from Sephora.   I give it a thumbs up!
