I just got the Guerlain pearls with my order and got 100 point perk of the Dr Brandt microdermabrasion. Very excited but bummed I missed out on the Glam Glow eye mud sample. Grr. Next time! I thought about getting the Summer Stash but after looking at the sizes of the items I didn't think I would get much use out of them vs. cost. I'd use the coconut blush, the nail polish, and UD spray but probably not much else. I got the Sephora Favorites with the NARS duo in the fall so I didn't need more bronzer. Instead of summer set I opted for much needed clairsonic replacement brush heads. Overstock.com had a better deal but it looks like the brush heads there are fakes. It's nice to get a few extras with a purchase I actually needed to make.

Does anyone know if the stila in summerstash comes with the primer? The picture doesn't indicate it, neither does the description. I heard that eyeshaddow is useless without the primer.

Nice! I love the Dr. Brand microdermabrasion, but it's pretty pricey. I got that 100 pt perk a few weeks ago. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Great tingle-y exfoliation without being too harsh.

Was the guerlain sample 5 or 6 pearls? If you have a moment to spare and know how, it would be awesome if you'd post a pic! Even though I might be super bummed I can't order another /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have the shadow in Black Gold if you'd like me to try it out with some other face/eye friendly serums tonight.  It's kind of difficult to work with to begin with but I LOVE the way it looks.. and Kitten's on my list of wants.

lolol. i'm on a low buy too (although the giant pile of packages i just got would indicate i've done horribly...). buuut... you know i'm here and we've swapped before! I do hope the Stila comes with the dropper thingy though.

No, it does not. However, there is an eyeliner from Make Up For Ever included in this kit.

Funny, the person probably received training to always include a positive statement after a negative. Even if it is completely random and frustrating.

Pretty weird they don't include the primer if it's supposedly required to make the shadow work? Or maybe it's not necessary, like the "activator" for the Laura Mercier cake liner?

Nah, the primer is totally necessary.  I'm wondering though if it'll work with another serum, like an eye serum or an eye primer?  I'll mess with it tonight- I've only played with it with the primer!  Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it would just go everywhere.

yeah, totally necessary. i wonder if it will work with the liquid sugar (kandy kosmetics or something like that... i think i dont remember) or the GDE thing that @meaganola mentioned. hmm.. but yeah, @Jeaniney it doesn't stick at all without the liquid. i think its kinda dumb that they didnt include it..

The easiest was is to follow the link through the email they send you, you can add it directly to your bag from there.

Otherwise, when you are signed in online, on the top left hand corner of the page where it lists your name, click on Beauty Insider, (or VIB, or VIB Rouge, which ever applies to you will show) and it will take you to the page where you can "Reward your Obsession". There you can add the birthday gift to your basket.



Either way you get there, be sure you are selecting the correct level of gift. The VIB gift will show even if you are only a BI but not allow you to add it to the order, you have to scroll through to get to the BI gift.

I don't have any of the GDE stuff at home to mess with- the liquid sugar stuff I almost bought, then I caved and just got the Stila.  I can try it with UDPP tonight, The Balm's whatever primer, Stay Don't Stray (I think..?) and a few random face serums I have.  Probably some random primers I have too and didn't think about.  Swatching away tonight!!  It will probably be late though- I'm going to see Rio 2 (instead of Oculus.. I really wanted to see Oculus) at 8:20!

Went into my sephora today to get the lip and nail set... It was a little too small for me to justify the price so I just got a few things I needed. With my purchase I got a few fragrance cards because triple points on fragrance purchase is coming up on the 24th - 11th of May!

My order got here lightning fast.  I was pretty disappointed with the packaging TBH- just flimsy cardboard. (My dog tried to steal it- his guilty pleasure is chewing up cardboard)

i got the ambient light powder in dim light during chic week. i've been using it every day since i got it (the blush too - LOVE) and i can't say that i can notice a difference.
