My sister loves the sephora one. I used one for my comic book girl Halloween look. I wore it doing my normal cat eye look on a cold day a couple weeks ago and when my eyes started to water when I stepped outside, the liner started to bleed/run and burn my eyes. I did end up looking like Alice Cooper if Alice Cooper spent the entire day crying.

UD's liquid liner is pretty fantastic. In Perversion. Blackest black ever.  Also, I picked up a few of Sephora's liquid liners a few weeks ago and they're amazing for only $12. Stays on all day with no issues!

The Sephora liner works well for me also, I got it in the Makeup Must Haves kit and it stays every time I use it.

For felt tip pen type I like the Eyeko, of course!

I've heard good things about the Marc Jacobs liquid liner.

Thanks ladies!  I'll look into all of these!  I'm currently using Maybelline's Master Precise and it's alright.. but I want something blacker!  I'll look at Perversion, Marc Jacobs.. I guess I should look at swatches too.  So picky when it comes to eyeliner.

Seeeee.... this is what I'm worried about.  This midwestern -1 degree weather has my eyes watering all the time.  I suppose I could switch up my makeup routine for the winter and stay away from black eyeliner but I love it too much.  I need something that's going to stay forever.

Go with UD then. The sephora looked REALLY nice but not so much when I got into Starbucks and my friend asked if my boyfriend and I broke up...

Seeeee.... this is what I'm worried about.  This midwestern -1 degree weather has my eyes watering all the time.  I suppose I could switch up my makeup routine for the winter and stay away from black eyeliner but I love it too much.  I need something that's going to stay forever.

Does FIXIT work?  You get choice of 3 bags with samples inside.  Mostly foils and cards but a good amount.

Thanks! I'd missed that one. Though it only showing one bag vs giving me the choice of three. Are you able to choose? I've not been able to figure out how to see all 3 bags.

Bobbi Brown long wear gel eyeliner (cream).  Love this stuff.

Oh I am sorry there were three bags in the beginning.  If you can only see one, then it is likely that is the only bag available.  It will usually pop up a window and what ever is in the window is what they have.  Hope that helps, and sorry for getting you excited!  I used the FIXIT on my Thanksgiving/black Friday order.

I swear by Clinique's Brush-Oh Cream Liner in True Black! I've been using it for the past 4 years and it's great! I have hooded lids and a lot of liners will flake or smudge or just completely disappear on me but the Clinique doesn't budge at all. And it's not difficult to remove either, just some soap and water at night and it's completely gone, which makes it even weirder that it's so resistant to tears/oily lids/sweat/etc.

  Knowing me, I'll probably spend $50 on black eyeliner alone, now, thanks to all your suggestions!  Maybe I do need a cream AND a liquid...

Just wanted to mention, I'm NC45 in Mac and very very few eyeliners I found at Sephora were as black as I wanted (Except perversion but i can't get the sharp lines i want ever with a pencil) , so I went to Inglot and got their matte 77 gel eyeliner, it's seriously the BEST EVER!! It's super black, matte and it does not budge at all! I used to live in Vegas and worked  as a nightclub promoter there and it was hot/sweaty, literally never budged! It's $12 and it last me well over 6 months! It's tough to remove but it is AMAZING~

You should def try it, the only thing with inglot it hard to find, but I highly recommend it! I've compared it to sephora's liquid/gel eyeliners, UD perversion liquid liner, mufe aqua eye anything, this works a lot better! Anyone hope you find what you're looking for!!

So here's my dilemma....if you were 40.00 from Rouge would you go for it or avoid it like the plague because of all the problems? I had previously sworn off sephora, but found that easier said than done when they send me a gift card and then Naked 3 comes out.

If I were in that position, I would go for it. I rarely buy repeat products, so that's no problem for me. And I usually like to spend $25+ so that I can use a promo code too.

None of my other liners have had this issue, I am probably going to have to return them to sephora though

I'd go for it. That free shipping is pretty great. Did you already get the palette? I think the gift card counts as money spent, so if you buy it, it'll put you over to Rouge.
