Today to Dec 15 for BI's and Dec 16 for VIB's. They normally don't give out the card numbers until the day the begins so today will be the day to call! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

There is no time frame in their return policy, especially if you have the receipt. If you don't it'll go for the selling price if they have that item in stock still.
Ah, I didn't know this! I guess because, since I buy almost exclusively online to avoid the strip, I end up returning the products through the mail to avoid the strip, too, and because usually I prefer online store credit- but they have a much stricter policy. 60 days for refund, 90 for credit, over that no returns.

Is it the same if you buy something online and return in-store? Like, if i have the packing slip and it's over 90 days can I get a full refund or store credit?

store credit for over 90 days, i believe.

If you read up thread, it's very clear that was not AT ALL what I was told yesterday when I initially called Sephora CS, and, if left to my own devices, I probably would have accepted the information she gave me as accurate, (that only a random selection of BI/VIB/VIBR's would be receiving the discount this year) and never even reconsidered calling back had it not been for various members of this thread encouraging me to do so.

I really admire your willingness to offer your insight on this thread, and I sincerely hope you understand our frustrations are in no way directed at you, but the bottom line is that Sephora is employing some hideous business practices, that, in my humble opinion, need to be remedied immediately

oh of course, i totally get that.

i just meant that if you guys haven't received the physical card to wait it out because i know you'll get the email!
also, if theres a chance that someone doesn't get the email... a cashier can search your unique code in our system at the register! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

also, i totally get why you guys are all frustrated. i have to call the sephora hotline number on a regular basis at work and they are NOT friendly. the people who a answer the 877 numbers, and who run the website, are completely different than the people who work in the stores.

theres no time limit as long as you have your receipt.

 
Got my BI email today for $15, called them and explained that I just made VIB so she put me on hold to talk to a lead because she was going to fix a purchase i was going to make, but i told her i wanted to use it in store ( just gotta $50 g/c for sephora and naked3 will be sold my local store - chestnut st- next Wednesday night at 9pm!!!).  When she came back she said all she had to do was put a note in my account and when I go to the store they should be able to see it.  Perfect timing for all of this wooot woot!!!

ETA:  I asked if there were any exclusions, she said not it just had to be a purchase higher than the amount of the g/c ...hmmmmmm is the $50 minimum just to get us to buy more

 
I got my card in the mail a while back and just got the email an hour or so ago, so check for it! Mine was in the gmail promo tag. I came to this thread expecting others to have gotten theirs too. :-/ Also mine was clear that the email was an online duplicate of the one they mailed me.

Nope.  No card, no email, nothing.

I appreciate that some people are calling and getting their card #'s from CS, but I just feel I shouldn't have to hunt down this discount.  Do you want my money or not Sephora??

I emailed them yesterday.  The response was that they were going out in waves and if I didn't receive it by end of today to call.  I just got it in my email,

 
Nope no email yet and I'm not calling to ask for it. If I get it I get it if not I don't need to spend the money and one more weird Sephora glitch to put on the list. I shouldn't have to chase this crap down.

I haven't gotten an email in my second account that I have not made a purchase on (use it for extra birthday gift)

I love that. You SHOULDN'T have to chase it down, you're their loyal customer. They keep saying on FB that the gift cards will be going out all day via email. They should have been out already (I got a card, but not an email).

I have to say, I, too, am discouraged by the banning complaints. Usually with a promotion like this I would have already been on the site and ordered. But I'm waiting until I get back from my trip and nearly the end of the promotion. I was considering skipping it all together but my mother expressed interest in the Anastasia Brow Pencil so I'm going to be picking that up, one for me and a new Clarisonic brush head. But I'm doing it in store :-s. I am going to be extra careful about what I get online now that I have free shipping.

 
Has anyone who called in to get their card number tried to use it online yet...? I just tried, and it's telling me the number is invalid
