Ah, good point! I didn't think of that.

Maybe we should create a Body Shop thread (or maybe there is one...I haven't looked).

I just finished talking to a friend of  mine who had her Sephora account frozen.  She is VIPR. She told me  she called them and the fraud / security area  told her  that she was flagged for  buying several of the same items  at different times. She  told me  she  liked something and ordered 2 more one for her sister and one for her mother  as gifts.   This is what flagged her account and she can no longer buy things.  The man said she was flagged for buying    3  of the same item in a  short period of time.     I   think  that this is crazy.   This is how they treat   someone who shops with them  often. I am VIPR   also   but  have  not had a problem  yet.   I  just wanted to pass  the info she  told me on.  I    have begun shopping at other places since I do not like the way    they are acting to people as well as how they have acted the few times I have actually been in the store.

What's weird to me, as much as this does seem to be a glitchy computer system, is that they don't seem to be realizing that the holidays are upon us and I know lots of us, when we find an awesome product, buy some for our friends/family. So yeah, multiples are likely gonna get purchased (now I'm speaking within reason here- not like, buying 25 of the same item or whatever). I mean, fairly recently i got the KVD lockit foundation, and my sister who is also fair and redheaded says shes looking for a good foundation for Xmas, so clearly I'm gonna give her what works for me since we're so similar. Just wish they'd review cases, and then unlock accordingly...

I asked one of the 3 chattees what was that women's name.   She muttered her name, stating that she was a manager and asked why I wanted to know in rude, condescending fashion and I simply said that I was going to make note of the name incase I felt like taking an online survey on today's experience.  She sort of ran out of words and attitude rather quickly.

Ultimately I didn't take a survey and log her name into the form.  I just wanted her and her fellow Sephoraians to know that it is NOT okay to treat your place of work like it was your own private parlor and that clients are hanadled like unwelcomed interlopers.  We are the reason why you have a job.
do you mind me asking which sephora you're talking about? there are a couple on broadway.

That's a good idea; although I am grateful to have heard about the Body Shop sale on this thread! I just ordered a few nice items. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Any good codes available? My fiance wants to get me the naked palette for christmas (only thing I said I wanted lol) and I wanna save him some money when he orders online. He said he will never walk into a sephora but he'll order online hahahah
I'm asking for the naked palette for Christmas too, but waiting for a good code before my bf orders it :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> maybe they will put out a new code before black friday ?

Satsuma shower gel is great! Also, the Shea body butter is fragrance and additive free and smells heavenly. It's said to be good for eczema, and I'd have to ask my bff if she liked the one I gifted her.

Found this from temptalia:

  • SEPHORA: $10 deals beginning 11/29. See list here.  Free makeup bag + 5 surprise samples with $25+ purchase with code SUSPENSE, 11/30 through 12/9. Free shipping on $25+ orders with code SHIPNOW,11/30 through 12/9.

I was telling a coworker that I am scared for black Friday with the Sephora deals and then I had lunch and then realized something so I called her back and say no no I will be fine I forgot I had a gift card. LMAO!

I like the cross-polination of ideas..  and had taken my cue to share on the BodyShop sale because OP on another thread had shared about something a little off topic.

I'm okay either way, I get the feeling the chatter on BodyShop will come and pass within the next 3 days in a minimally invasive fashion.

But if it's really bugging someone, I totally get it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...  How about 3 for a majority?  2 more mentions and BodyShop gets booted and stands in its own thread... or first person to get THAT bogged down by its conversation can just create a thread and redirect.

For now I'm enjoying it a little, Sephora's been a bit negative and the BodyShop chatter has made things fun!

I agree that the Body Shop thread is probably going to have huge lulls. It's not something that generates regular conversation unless they have a really good sale. And also agreed that the Body Shop talk has been a nice break from Sephora's issues!

I can't quite remember exactly.  I do know that it wasn't the Wall Street one or the Herald Square one.  It's somewhere between the two Sephoras and it was on a corner.

Sorry...The Body Shop thread was just a random idea that I had.

I'm still trying to decide what to get during the Body Shop sale.

Okay off topic again...   BodyShop Nutrigangics Drops of Youth is pretty aahhhmazing for fine lines.

Got one bottle yesterday online, just went into store and put a pump on right side of face.  Holly cow-molly, right side felt smoother driving home and upon close scrutiny with reading glasses, fine lines have definetly decread in 2 hours.  Will go make another order for more bottles to take me through the cold dry winter months.

They are $36 the rest of the year... might need to buy an entire year's worth and keep in back of fridge in tupper wear.  Oh, please don't flag me and my fine-line face!!

For the serum users out in Sephoraland, do you find that a 1 oz. bottle last you about 1 month?  Am now in love with this!

I had it in my cart but switched it out for something else since I don't really have fine lines yet (they'll pop up any day now). You are making me regret it!

Oh, get them when the lines pop up!  I'm sure the 3 for $30 will be around next year.

If you read the ingredients, the humacetent hylarunaic acid (I know that's not how it's spelled) is what plumps the skin.  Your body produces it naturally but after 30 to 35 the production level starts to drop, along with collagen that's why the fine lines on the outside and then joint issues and decrease in disc height internally.

So putting it on when your skin is smooth won't hurt you but it'll be minimally absorbed - because the plump lineless face, indicates that you presently are producing an optimum level of what the bottle is trying to put back in.

If you want you can always get one and just save it for bitter cold and dry days as an intro.

Anyone else get their $15 off $50 code in the mail today? Skimmed& didn't see anything yet. Anyway, I got mine! But just curious if it's $15 for everyone or if there are tiers for VIB/VIBR?
