Ok so I recently cut my hair a bit shorter. I'd like to let it air dry and leave in my natural waves but its quite frizzy. Was wondering what types of products (names please) I could use to create nice waves and keep em in place when using the scrunching method. Thanks in advance y'all!

Fresh Curls line by Redken...I used to use it when i had a perm

anytime girl...um yeah it's a salon product but u can find it cheaper online i think...and how to apply it?...well they renewed the line since i used it so it's a bit different...the shampoo and conditioner is a given how to use of course...then there's a couple diff styling products...there's the scrunching spray which might be what you're lookin for...and there's kind of a defining cream...which u should scrunch in your damp hair and then u can apply a little of it afterwards when your hair is dry if u want...

...Then there's also a mousse..which i haven't tried but i'd guess you apply it in damp hair as well...

Yay!! I have recently cut shorter curly hair too!!

Try this thread for some product ideas, the girl has straight hair, but the same products would work I think!

I use Tresseme gel and Flawless Curls mousse. I put the mousse in first and let it dry for a sec, and then use the gel to keep it in place and not frizzy!

I have also used Beyond the Zone Noodle Head stuff.... you can get it at Sally's and it's in the orange containers. It smells light and yummy!

Here are some reviews on it:

HTH!!

EDIT: OK just kidding... I re-read that thread I gave you, and there really aren't that many product names... some of it might help you, but sorry if it doesnt!!

Thanks all for your help!

Sara: I went to Walmart today and found the Redken Scrunching Spray and it is fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do think that it helps I already have waves in my hair though, not sure if it would work on someone with completely straight hair looking to scrunch. The waves came tight and minimal frizz. I'm going to do this for a daytime look now so I dont have to blowdry all the time! It was quite pricey though wow!!! Only downfall!

Thanks again!!

Thats awesome sweetie! I love Redken products..I use em myself all the time and my hair has gotten so much healthier looking ...and yeah unfortunately it's pricey...but worth it though hehehe...I had no idea u could get it at wal-mart though...nice!

I use the Suave version of Redken's curl line.. you should definitely check it if you're looking to spend less! Its the same stuff but cheaper!

It's called Healthy Curls, I believe!

Natural Aloe Vera gel also works well if you don't want to go the commercial route.
