Redken align & chi silk infusion

I use Redken align ultra straight balm mixed with Chi silk infusion on my hair before flat ironing it. I was thinking it was a heat protectant, but when I look at the bottles neither say that it is a heat protectant. Does anyone know if it is? If not could you suggest a good one? TIA!!

I know chi silk infusion is just to add shine and manageability, they sell one that is called iron guard that is from the chi brand. It's a protecting spray. I have it, but I always forget to use it
