Hi guys.

I'm leaving tomorrow to go visit my future mother-in-law who is a hair dresser. She offered to, for free, cut and dye my hair for me. Since I have the help of a professional, I'd like to go red. I really, really want to try red, badly, but very often I have kind of a ruddy face with flushed red cheeks and occasionally a bit of flush on my chin or forehead and around my nose. I don't have particularly pale skin I don't think, just thin maybe?

So my question is, is there a shade of red that will work for me, or will I just have to get used to looking red all over, or choose another color entirely? You can look at my profile pic if you need to, or I could post some more. I would like to have my mind made up before I go so I don't end up doing something entirely wrong for me.

Any advice is appreciated!

I think you'd look great with red hair actually! if you're worried, ask for an auburny browny kind of red, rather than fire engine

I used to have red hair, and i had the issue of super red skin before i went red. I found that having a deep red actually made my skin look more peaches and cream and less clifford the big red dog.

And, for a more acurate picture of the hair color (i am the one eating the starbursts and not looking at the camera

I think you can go for red, but like Rosie said, go for something more subtle than fire engine red.
