i use a moisturizer with light refractors in it and it really makes my skin look poreless. maybe try an illuminating moisturizer or tinted moisturizer? mine is aveeno positively radiant with spf 30.

BEAUTY SLEEP

it really works ..... i've notices large pores whenever i sleep less or have a disturbed sleep pattern

but whenever i have a full peaceful sleep my pores really do look smaller

Clinique has a line of foundation primer type products that really do reduce the appearance of pores. My pores are huge too. I just sort of cope with it. I'm doing home microdermabrasion, which seems to help a little bit.
Clinique also has a serum that reduces pores. First clean them out - get a mask or some strips and then use products that work to reduce pores.

Ack!  I do feel your pain, as I have this same problem.  Michael Phelps could use my pores as swimming pools.  Fun stuff.

I agree with what pretty much everyone else here has said, blame your genetics and keep your skin as clean as possible- I use a cleansing oil and then my Clarisonic (with the delicate brush) to try to help with that.  Also a good extraction facial twice a year is important.

Also, I've been using Tazorac for a few months now, and I will venture to say that it has been very helpful.  Its not a magic solution, but I definitely see a visible improvement.  Also spironolactone is helpful for some.
