Hey ladies!

Im going to get my hair cut..SOON..I hope and I dont know what to do. I have a major major problem with hating the thickness of my hair, lol, and I understand that a "undercut" can help that or what? Im ok with the poofiness because obviously I can straighten that all that but when it takes me a HOUR to do my hair thats pretty bad.

What cut can I do to help this? Also do getting more layers help after that?

I heard japenese straignting is really good. What does that help with exactly? Is it just you dont have to straighten your hair for 6th months?

Also are side bangs still "in". I dunno my bangs are long anough to grow out and look ground but I kind of like the bangs. BY THE WAY

1.love that thickness okay? i dont have it and i WANT it. be glad you have it.

2. i believe it is undercutting that will help with thickness. wait for an expert thogugh.

3. i think japanese straightening just straightens your hair.

4.i dont care if side bangs are in still or not. i like them. and you should like them too.

im feeling rather demanding and bossy tonight. must change my mood

You have some good questions/issues. Before submitting to the big cut, make sure you get a thorough hair consulation first, have all your questions answered, then proceed. You may even want to go to a few salons just to get a variety of points of view.

Definitely get a consult first if you can. Sometimes adding layers can help with poofy hair, as I know it's helped me.

Japanese straightening is something you definitely want to have a consultation on first, as it depends on the hair type. Some hair can take it okay without damage, and others can't. There's quite a few threads on it; just do a search, and it should produce some results.

As for the bangs, I say go with what works for you and whatever you like. I'm not one to follow the "norm" or "in" styles, so I really can't give much advice there. I say whatever you're comfortable with is best.

Have you tried HealthySexyHair by Sexy Hair Concepts? I've been using their shampoo, conditioner and leave-in treatment for a while now, and I love it! My hair is actually the healthiest it's ever been!
