My favorite all time straightener...the one and only is SEDU!

I own Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener since 2005. I only need to do it one time each chunk of my hair to make my hair smooth and straight.

Sedu iron can be purchased from Folica.com and you have two different sizes option either 1" or 1 1/2".

By the way, this is the only iron that made my hair so straight and slick and does not take much time up! Don't consider buying cheaper iron because cheaper iron are not as good as expensive one. Expensive iron tend to perform better and need to do it one time rather than doing it couple times on the same chunk hair to make it straight.

Hope this helps!

Well, you probably already know Chis are good...but personally I use Solia. I have their limited addition pink iron, good stuff.

the ones that work for me is conair the new one that just come out it work very well but it talkes a long time to heat up, if you want a good one and dont what to pay 200 dollors.I love the chi one too it work very good, heats up fast too and it comes in cool colours. and at beautychoice.com they have a deal on the you get the flat iron, the blow dryer and heat protecter for a good price.

I use the Vidal Sasoon Wet to Dry Hairstraightener with a ceramic plate.

I find it okay although I can't compare it with Chi or Sedu as those brands are not available here in Manila.

I tried and bought numerous flat irons. Helen of Troy, Vidal Sassoon, Remington, and a few others. The only one that actually worked on my hair (my hair stayed flat and straight for hours) was CHI flat iron. Yeah its expensive but definetly worth it.

I got a CHI last year and it broke after 2 weeks, i got it replaced and then the replacement broke after month... So no more CHI for me. I stumble on a site called Flat Iron Experts and bought a KQC flat iron, the flat iron they recommended. Its working really good so far, Im loving it.

I have had my Chi for over a year and it has worked great! My hair is very long, thick and wavy but my Chi makes it sleek and shiny. I have other friends who have had their Chi break on them easily though but this hasn't been the case for me.

For Xmas my mom got me a Calor Elite Model Look, it heats up in just a few seconds, the temperature is adjustable, and it works great! I love it! Not expensive at all. I have never tried Chi or GHD but I was amazed by their price, 300 Dollars for a hair straightner?? no way!!

Hello,

GHD Mach1v is amazing...it features sleep technology (if it hasnt been used in the last 30 mins, it turns itself off...quite handy for people like me who forget it's on) and it has smart technology that allows the iron to adjust the temperature automatically according to the texture/porosity of your hair.
