I don't know, I know some of mine, like Light Blue, Burberry Weekend, and Marc Jacobs seem more mature to me, but then I still like Lucky You, Lolita Lempicka, Hollister August ,and I think of those are younger smells. The only thing about more 'mature' smells, they can be more musky, like shalimar or chanel no. 5, and I don't like that musky/powdery smell all that much.

I think i would wear mature in the evening and young in the day time, as the mature ones are more heavier and musky....

I like both..but I usually end up wearing the younger perfumes..like Britney's Fantasy.. I love that stuff! It's just more appealing to me than a muskier scent. Oh, and I have to agree about Vera Wang Princess! I have sampled that, and omg...I would love to smell like that everyday!

It is a too expensive for me though.

I tried this the other day...Isn't it a pretty scent?? Me neither.

I've heard this, too. Hmmm...Guess I'll have to try it out!!

I love perfumes as long as they are floral, sweet or citrusy, I love Anais Anais as well as Happy Heart

I don't pay attention so much to the level of "maturity" on perfumes... I go with what I like... Although, I only wear one perfume now, and I don't even know what it would be considered, aside from $75+! LOL!

I love Carolina Herrera 212( my signature scent. even got my boyfriend hooked on the men's version) and 212 sexy. I tend to like the spicier scent? I just got a sample at Sephora from Fresh. It is called Jasmine and ?. I can't remember the other part of the name. Anyways, one spritz last all day on me. The sample vial that i got will last me quite some time. I guess it would be more mature scents then. I tend to steer clear of fruity ones.

I got this gift set from sephora last october I believe. It was 25$ and all $ from the sale went to Breast Cancer Research. Anyways, it had a bunch of different brands of perfumes in small bottles(at least 6 brands). That is how i tried the 212 sexy. But their was one that was Deimetier(sp?) Sugar Cookie. I found that absolutely gross. I still smell it every once in awhile hoping to change my mind, but to avail.

I am drawn to the lighter scents, so I guess those would be considered young. YSL's Baby Doll is one of my everyday perfumes, as well as the fruity, tropical scents of Ferragamo's Incanto Dream and Escada's Pacific Paradise. I love the sweet scents!

love mature classics, chanel's Black Coco(especially for those very speial occasions), no 5,Joy J. Patou,Hermes's Caleche...aldehydes notes makes me fresh but sexy....

but I betray them with everything which contains lots of musk, age doesnt matter

I like whatever smells good that I can afford. Right now it's Baby Phat - Goddess by Kimora Lee Simmons. Is that a young perfume??

I love both. Generally people start with light perfumes earlier in life since the sense of smell is not exercised yet in terms of sophistication but is fairly acute, hence young girls claim smells like Poison by Dior are 'old lady' smells - strong, long lasting, with oriental undertones. As we get older our sense of smell develops (just like a muscle - we are able to appreciate more diverse and unusual smells), however the sensibility to the acuteness of smells goes down. That's why older women need more olfactory stimulation to 'sense' the fragrance.
