actually, the combination of the shampoo and conditioner.

i was a system biolage girl, and when i got married, switched to Fructis because my husband uses too much product.

well, i wanted to try somethign different, and because i got my hair cut to match an ad for Pantene Texturize!, i bought the shampoo (still had enough fructis conditioner). it was fine, no issues for the month i had it. then my conditioner ran out, and so i switched to the Pantene Texturize! conditioner. within a week, the ends of my hair started to kink up like they had been through a super mini crimper from the eighties!!! i totally believed my hair had gotten fried by my blowdryer somehow. but the tips didnt look fried, just SUPER kinky.

well, the shampoo ran out and went back to fructis, and it's only been 3 days but my hair is going back to normal!!!

ughhhhhhh, and we have like a year's worth of conditioner too, because we actually bought this humongous bottle thinking it was the shampoo, and that came with a travel size version, plus the regular size we already have in the shower.

this stuff is so bad, even my husband hates to use it.

btw- we switch between Fructis Fortify and Sleek and Shine, both are spectacular... the Fortify is currently saving my hair.

I am sorry to hear that happened to you. One thing I do if I totally hate a shampoo is to finish using it as a body wash. Maybe you could use the conditioner as a shaving cream?

the only issue with that is i don't have much body hair, i shave like 4 times a year... hehehe
