haha! i started using oo a couple days ago as a moisturizer too! partially because of this thread/ partially because i realized i left my dermalogica moisturizer in nyc! i am loving it too! my face seems so smooth and my pores seem refined. i don't know if oo can refine pores, but something seems to be different!

Ive never used ACV mainly because people have said it burns at first but have been curious. The green tea I guess would be less irritating. I also tried the Burt's Bees Rose Water Toner it was a little drying for me it has some alcohol so after my green tea I might just make the rose water myself without the alcohol.

I dont know if it refines but it could be just that the OO didnt clog them so they are smaller... just a thought.

As i am readint htis, i just Mixed my own bottle of Olive oil and castor oil!..I had a BIG bottle of castor oil sitting on my dresser.wasting away..Thanks so much for the info..I already use shea butter..Do u think it would be safe to use some shea butter on my face, wait for about 10 minutes then apply a few drops of the OO and CO mixture?

The OO & CO oil would be used first to cleanse & then if you still need moisturizing you can use the OO. Ive only used Shea butter for my body so I dont know much about it.

If you have never cleansed with oils before its going to seem really weird at first.

From what I under stand it locks in the moisture in your skin also it can act as a natural sunscreen.

Ive never used CO to moisturize only olive oil. I add CO to my mix to add extra cleansing. You could always try it but def mix it with another oil like OO castor oil is pretty thick.
