Idk if I should post this under Hair Care or Skin Care because I was told this cream can be used for both, but for my purpose I will post it here.

Has anyone used Ojon Tawaka Ancient Tribal Rejuvenating Cream? My aunt worked at a salon and treated me to a salon day a year or 2 ago for my birthday and the family that owns the salon were going on and on about how excited they were they just got a shipment of this cream in. They were saying how good it is for your hair and skin and I am always looking for a great moisturizer for my hair because I have REALLY curly dry hair. My aunt bought it for me and I tried it out a couple times and haven't used it since. I am just now pulling it out the drawer it has been sitting in and giving it another try. Same results so far though. On my skin it feels greasy and takes a while to absorb. Even when it absorbs it doesn't make my skin super soft or feel like anything amazing. When I put some in my hair it just makes my hair feel greasy. Even if I straighten my hair, when I run a little through it gives it a greasy look and feels slightly stiff. It seems to be popular and some people love it but I just watched a youtube review where someone said they had the same experience with this product as me. Has anyone on here tried it? What were your results?

Also, if anyone with curly dry hair has any favorite products please let me know! It seems every time I find something I love the company discontinues it. I currently really want to try a new conditioner and leave in conditioner, moisturizer, serum, or all 3! I feel like I have tried everything lol I am currently using Infusium Moisturizer Shampoo and Conditioner (NOT 2-in-1... 2-in-1 products don't seem to work for me) and I was using Garnier Fructis Length and Strength moisturizer (I think... it had a pump) but they discontinued it a while ago and all of their other products don't compare. I have heard great things about Shu Uemura Essence Absolue but I am hesitant to buy it because of the price ($65 for 5 FL OZ) and I have been disappointed in so many products I have read great reviews about. I have also seen the brand Mixed Chicks and have been wondering if this is a good brand and where to get it.

Sorry this was so long lol thanks for any feedback!

All Ojon hair products, no matter how little I'd use, would make my hair super greasy.

I believe that Ojon products are palm oil.

Coconut oil does just about the same job as palm oil, in terms of conditioning.

The trick is to let it saturate your hair for an hour or so, then shampoo out.

Putting it on after shampooing would be way to greasy.
