New hair color!

Ok, so I got bangs cut last week, and so I decided to do something new with the color as well.

I have had it dyed jet black for about 2 1/2 years, and just wasn't liking it anymore. I bought some ColorFix Hair Color Remover, after reading the reviews, but was skeptical. I didn't think it would remove the black from my hair at all.

I left it on for about 25 minutes, and it didn't look like it did anything at all. I was feeling sad... when I started rinsing it out, I SAW the difference! I saw brown and red in my hair... =)

A lot of people say that the stuff will turn your hair bright orange, so you have to color over it... but when it was all done with, and blowdried, my hair wasn't orange, but a WEARABLE reddish brown.

I'm not even going to go over it with dye yet, cuz I like the color it is now!

Thanks girls... Celly, I am a natural blonde... lol. I don't think I look good blonde AT ALL though, it looks horrible with my skin tone. Haven't had blonde hair for about 7 years.

Well... update, the red is gone... =(

Just one day after posting this pic, and LOVING the red... I hopped in the shower and when I got out, the BLACK hair dye came back and the red was gone! UGH!

So I had to use the colorfix AGAIN and it turned my hair red again, but obviously it wasn't going to stay that color... so I dyed my hair brown. It's like a dark chocolate brown now.

Oh well... I am lucky that I haven't completely RUINED my hair... it's still healthy and shiny and gorgeous!

First go around, lucky you for getting a decent color! You must of had a lot of pigment in your hair. I don't understand why it turned black again, that's crazy. Sounds like we have the same hair! Torture it all day long and it still loves us.
