Ladies I have come to ask for your thoughts and ideas, on what I should do with my hair!

Everyone here is so diverse and has such awesome style, that I know you'll help me come up with something great!

So I've posted some pics, to give you an idea, of where I'm at....

I absolutely do NOT want a shorter style. I really want to grow it out.

I have thin and damaged hair. It has been bleached blonde for 2 years now, and it had killed my hair. I desperately need my roots done again, but it's way too damaging and it won't get better until, I give up the bleach.

This makes me said, because I think I look best as a blonde.

Oh well!

So I'm going to go as close to my natural color as I can. I have an inch and a half of roots so far.

I was thinking of side swept bangs, but I think my hair may be too thin, so it would not look nice on me. (Makes my hair overall, a bit thinner in the ponytail.)

What about color? Should I go my natutral mousy/gross/dull brown.....or darker, or maybe a hint of auburn....hmm?

Black would be way too dark for me, as I am very very pale.

I really like the looks of the two toned hair, where girls have blonde on top, and darker hair underneath. I think that looks hot, but its too much damage and up keep, bleaching the top.....so I was thinking, since I already have the blonde underneath, I'll do it reversed, with dark on top?!

I can't find any pics, of what I'm talking about, but I think you can picture it. (Just thinking about it, not to sure)

Honestly I LOVE long blonde hair, but it's sooo dry now!

HELP ME! Colours? Highlites? A Style?

I would like to see you as a medium blond with some higlights and lowlights.

If you aren't sure on bangs, just a trim so you can keep growing your hair out.

I think you would look cute with side swept bangs, but I think that looks cute on everyone.

I know you said you dont want to cut it, but just a trim of a few inches off the bottom to give it more shape and get rid of that damage from the bottom. I think you need that because it looks damaged on the ends

You will still have nice length.

And I think you can keep it blonde still, just go for a hairdye instead of bleach, you can try a light ash blonde or golden medium blonde right, and you can find a hairdye that is good for your hair. Wouldn't that work?

Lol I think its a good idea... and if it went well you could even dye the under part of it black or red or something. I think that is hot too. I seen a few girls around here that have dark brown or black hair on top, and light blonde underneath, and personally I dont like how it looks, it only looked decent on one girl, I think its harder to pull off.

I would jsut have ur stylist add some darker blonde hilights slowly each time you go in til ur a darker blonde

I'm not keen on light on top and dark on bottom..its abit spice girl era ish. I agree with Abby though on the lowlights idea until you get the shade you want. I also love chocolate brown hair like Eva Longoria.

I agree with KillaKitty that a two toned look with dark on top and blonde underneath works well for some people. I happen to think your hair looks good blonde. It suits your face :-D I've gone platinum blonde for the summer and I'm naturally a very dark brunette. I do agree that it is a pain in the butt to upkeep but I think it's worth it. I happen to love my new color! However, I'll more then likely change it for the fall/winter. It's just something I always do. I can't stick with one look for a whole year. :-D I hope you find something that works.

Does anyone know of a hair dye I can use instead of a bleach. I'm fairly dark brunette naturally. I'll post a recent pic, of my roots those far.....I'm afraid that with out using bleach, I will only get an orange-tinged hair.

I have very dark brown hair myself But I have the same 'problem' you have

I dont like myself with the darker hair so I dye it also...My hair is a light brownish shade with some highlight and a subtle golden bronze glow, i dont use salon stuff only home dye

I bleached also in the past but it made my hair look ugly very fast. I dont know any dye that can make your hair that color you have without any trace of peroxid...

Maybe you can choose a bit darker shade of blonde, like light brown/dark blond with highlight in it?

I think the combo will work for you and will fir your complexion as well

As far as cutting your hair, stay away from layers, if your hair is thin already dont do it, every barber that will try to talk you into layers should get fired instantly...

Just do the ends, maybe a bit shorter. If you want to do something different just do the front, layer it down at the sides of your face, bangs are nice but make sure your not bored with a look fast

I did rihanna like bangs a while ago and im still trying to make them not noticeable every morning....freaking bangs

Im curious about the outcome

I think you should play around with semi-permanent streaks until you find your favorite color, and from there you can buy a permanent dye.

As for the side-swept bangs, I think they would be awesome on you.
