New color advice?

Hi! Don't post here much but i need some advice.

I want to change my hair color slightly but i'm not sure what to do. I want to add some boost of color and i'm leaning towards going alittle darker. In the first pic i'm outside and it's fairly light blonde but once I go inside like in the second pic my hair get really dull and blah. I've used semi-permanent dye but it never seems to make my hair darker. I want to color it myself cause i'm cheap XD. Any suggestions on a color that would suit me and if i should use permanent dye?? Oh and i'm not the tannest person ever so would going darker look good on my skin tone or should i be going the other direction?

Actually I think you could pull off dark brown quite well (especially with your eyes)! I love the pale look with dark hair and wish it looked good on me. I recommend Loreal Colour Experte- their dyes have never failed me and are pretty gentle on your hair. They also come with a separate hilighting thing that you can use if you want.

I like the idea of darker hair for you, as well.

You seem to have a bit of pink in your skin - consider an ashy or neutral medium brown as oppose to a golden or reddish shade.
