So i asked everyone in a previous thread whether to go blonde or stay brunette, i think when people get an idea in there head for changing their hair colour, no matter what the consequences people tend to do it anyway... so i went to hair salon to be told the usual need to do highlights first, me being me i went an bought DIY kit and here is the result!! this is without a colour on top i waited a few days an deep conditioned my hair etc.. so tonight is the night when i go ash blonde i think it is? so anyway thought i'd put a picture of my yellowish hair haha

The condition looks good still doesnt it, I have been using that Jerome B to do my roots as well and it gives really good results. I eagerly await the next pic when you do it ash and wonder how you intend to do that, as I am about to do similar.

I bought a clairol born blonde light ash blonde toner to use after the Jerome B, what are you intending to use on the next step?

Wow! Thats amazing, I had kept checking back this thread to see how it went, and thanks for showing us what you used, because I had thought that those nice and easy range only lightened further, but they have given your hair a lovely tone. The best thing I have found for taking away any yellowy tones is Loreals silver shampoo, available in salons. I like the shade you have though, it looks really good.

By the way you inspired me last night to have another go at my hair, which I had not got the color I wanted....I did another full head of the jerome B last night (scary as it went just very light yellow) and then put the clairol toner on and this was the result...u can see the difference from my avatar where it was not as light..I may go a little darker after I give my hair a rest for a while. (u photograph really well by the way...my pics look like criminal mug shots...you look like a model)

My natural hair was like below...I will have to do the showing parting roots every week, but it is pretty quick using the home kits and not expensive either.

i have to face the work colleagues tonight who havent seen my hair and never knew i was taking the blonde plunge so it should be interesting haha if i take a picture straight it looks like a mugshot also!! haha

i kinda like where it is now, i would def go with a honey blonde, i think an ash would match your skin color to closely which would run the risk of making you washed out

oops just read your second post where you did the dye. i supose you proved me wrong. i think it came out extremely nicely you look wonderful

it really suits you! your eyebrows are not too dark for your new colour either. I really like it!
