Need your opinion

I have mixed colors of blondes and light brown in my hair(most blonde is extensions) and my roots was showing so i decided to home color it...well lets say it looked a mess, was a nasty yellowy color and i didnt look right a blonde all over, i usually have alot of root showing, i prefer it like that, so i decided to get a nice chocolate brown and cover the roots and do some streaks, anyway it looks good, like the roots have grown alot but its weird as its come darker than the rest of my hair, it should fade in time though but what I was thinking, is to have a full head of brown and blonde extensions put in so it mixes up my darker top part and gives me a new look to try.. what dya think, ive always liked to have dark brown and blonde streaks so shall i go for it?
