Need a new Haircut! Help Me! (Pics)

Heya!

I'm starting to get really fed up with my baby fine wavy hair. It is still damaged from about half way down from when it was bleached (I'm not colouring it again). Some days I can't do anything with it (I dont use heat stylers etc) because the waves have gone really weird and look stupid. What type of hairstyle do you think my face could pull off?.

PS. I have a round face and fine wavy hair! By the way my face is even rounder when I smile *eek* lol

maybe you could cut the ends (more or less it depends if you wanna keep your hair that long), and ask for layers ? it makes the fine hair look thicker.

It looks like your face is on the longish side too. I would go for nothing longer than shoulder length (longer than that and it would make your face even longer looking), and nothing shorter than jawbone length (anything shorter would draw attention to your longer jaw/chin area). Layers would be a must, they definitely give volume! I have fine hair too, and super wavy, but A LOT of it. My style is like a 1995 Jenna Elfman, Ashley Judd look. I love the shorter layers and it's fun to play around with and create new looks!

Your face looks long in that picture but it looks more round in the picture you have in your profile, if you dont want your face to look more round avoid short haircuts, i would say layered in the front to give your face a more oval longer shape, i know it looks different in this picture than it looks in real life, my face is also a bit round so i try to avoid the haircuts that make it rounder and i went for a sorta layered style and long hair to give my face the appearance of a longer oval shape.

IMO, I think the color is washing you out a bit. I know you said that you don't want to bleach it again, but what about dye? I think a nice medium rich brown would look fantastic and it would really make your eyes stand out. As far as the cut, I would say take a few inches and get some long layers cut into it. i wouldnt perm it at all if its damage from bleach.. i agree with daeron about the cut, short hair will make it look rounder

I would say a shoulder length or a little shorter with layers and Frame the face. I want to do that, but mine has to grow out first. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks for all the advice girls! yeah I thought I had a longish face too! arggh long and round *bad combination*. I think I'm going to give it a semi-colour.. I look like a goth if i go to dark so a nice brown colour or something!. I'm still not sure how to have it cut yet.. x

I would go for a "deeper" color, maybe a bit more brown/reddish... And cut it around shoulder length, but some stylists can probably give you good advice

I think you are really pretty! I think a brown color would bring out your blue eyes even more. As for a cut, I agree with the others, layers, will add more volume. Hope this helps, and please post pics if you decide to get this done!
